Spotted this Landmaster in Jayanagar.

looks a nice oreeginal car

A lovely car, has been posted earlier. Unfortunately the orignal cast numberplates have been replaced by stickered units.

Here is a lovely Mk 1 Amby that belonged to Yeshwanrao Chavan when he was Minister for External Affairs in Delhi.

Karl a fantastic find -Like that car. It has a VIP number. Those days politicians preferred black cars too.The first Mark II ever made was gifted by HM to J.L. Nehru and was also black in colour.The Nehru family also had a black Hindustan 14 (bought new during J.L. Nehru's tenure as PM) that even Rajiv Gandhi used to drive in the 1980's.

an ambassador model 1959 was recently sold for 1.80 lakhs.it was in a reasonably good condition.the number was PNF 1.the high price was basically for the registration number.what should have been its normal price?

Hi all, this is my 1st post in this thread.

The pictures am posting is of an 1961 ambassador, which belong to Mr. Sherief of FCB (Imperial s.a on team bhp).
I guess more detail on the car car be given by him only, am just posting pics :)

There was a landmaster in Gujari yesterday, only with body and transmission, nothing else :), got sold immediately.

Thanks Anjan, I din't click many pics of the engine bay. The one which i took is not that good. But still will post if you insist. I din't get permission for VIN plate, as also it isn't necessary here

hi sujith when someone wants to compare the engine room no issues go ahead to post engine &vin plate pics its always good for knowledge for people wheather my engine room is perfect any way anjan its got the MOWOG engine
