Resto-Modern Millecento

Bangalore Fiat 1100 Club's new member Mr. Jayaram Reddy's cars. He has two Fiats, a Millecento and Select. The Millecento was resto-modernized recently in Krishna's garage near Ulsoor lake. Not many may like it as its originality is lost but anyways looks like a 2009 model Millecento, something like the new Fiat 500. Here are some Pics of the cars.

The Select looks very nice. A most interesting paint scheme I must say.. Are the wheel caps a Fiat aftermarket accessory ? I loved the oval rear number plate, looks very cool - a bit like those on a beetle. Wow those tail lights are to die for !! .
I didn't like the dukkar though - AC and all ! Reminds me of a chap living close to my house who has a black dukkar with a roof mounted fold-down LCD TV screen, DVD player, et al.

Well there's LCD panel on both of the cars. The Select also has modern bits in from of Headlight, Carb, distributor and like. They have been discussed earlier on the forum. The Fuel filler opening is clossed and now we have to lift the boot to fill her up.

As for the tail lights I am also in lookout for orginal Shorter beek aluminium ones.

This is the first centre light modded to the 2009 tastes that im seeing.Quite impressive with AC and Floor gear,Steering and Dash totally modified to suit the interiors of the car.
Still an original beauty is well appreciated.

These cars have been featured on t-bhp before too, albeit different thread. The dukkar is very good as a retro-modern concept. if nothing else we have to appreciate the modification finish.

Karl, those wheels look genuine Fiat / Alfa / Lancia wheels. What do you think? I have seen similar ones with my buddy.

Sad to see SS80 / M800 door handles adapted on this car.
