Brought LS2 Diamond today from Balaji Helmet Palace JC road B'lore.

Gifted by Wifey, :D

All I am on the lookout for a helmet, I have previously owner GP One and now AGV. Budget 6 to 8 K. I have looked at Sparx and KBC [I know this one starts at around 10K]. Please suggest. How is Daijya?

Looking for a full lid

1) 6 - 8k
2) Mumbai based.
3) The cops have issues with non ISI ones. Would prefer an ISI one or will just manage it
4) Has to be light and low wind noise.

Any suggestions on brands and stores?

Thanks

1. Check out the Airoh range from Bachoo motors or SparX if you need a helmet with some graphics. They are sold at Performance Racing.

2. Both are Mumbai based (near Grant Road).

3. Where do these checks happen? The last time I knew these checks were happening was way back in Jan/Feb. Do they still happen anywhere?

I have been to Performance Racing, need to visit Bachoo Motors soon I guess to take a look at the collection

It happened in Sion. I was wearing an ISI branded one, so was good. I think they look out for jazzy graphics et al before stopping

Got myself an LS2 asphalt from Helmet Palace JC road. Priced 3.7k.

Guys, my vega boolean helmet has now gone kaput. Time to change it. Any pointers of good genuine shops in Hyderabad ? I am inclined towards LS2 now :) Any other better suggestions? I want a helmet which can open and close the front portion.

Check this out. Prices are on the higher side though.

Hyderabad members should be able to give you more options.

SparX and KBC helmets are real good. The one I got (SparX) cost me around 8.5k. You can go to Helmet Paradise to check if he has some new stock. Or if you like something on PRS website, just write to them, they will have it sent over to Helmet paradise.

Meanwhile you can check the SOL range from Megha helmets right opposite MTR.

Good stuff Partha! :)

Got my SOL unicorn few weeks back.I decided to go for SOL because of DOT certification.Guess its the most affordable DOT certified helmet one can get in India.I must say I am impressed by the quality of the helmet and graphics looks really good. Its a steal for 5K if you ask me.Only problem is that its attracting too much attention so I cant leave it on my bike in public.

Great buy. Did you checkout the SF1 too? The padding on that felt more comfortable and plusher. Getting one soon.
