1. By nature I sweat a lot on my scalp. So I always feel I need a lighter helmet with many air vents. What else can I look for in a helmet to keep my head cool? :D |

Do you wear a Balaclava? That helps a lot. What is your budget? Depending on the helmet you get you can switch visors easily enough. Also the Helmet you buy will depend on your budget. SparX is pretty good and is available for around 5-6 grand. Then there are others such as HJC,KBC,AGV that can be had in the 8000-20,000 range. There are cheaper ones as well. In the 2000-3000 range such as LS2's. It all depends on your Budget! cheers! imp |

Anyway, my question was why do most people prefer plain visors considering they anyway can't be used after dark owing to scratches within a short time span! |

Plain visors offer excellent and clear visibility in daylight as well as after sundown. But it takes a lot of effort and care to keep them as good as new. How do you clean it? Any difference between cleaning at home and on tour? Thanks |

Any suggestions on where I can get the helmet shield for a Sparx helmet changed in Bangalore. The current shield is tinted & is a bit difficult to use at nights(which comprises half the ride time for me). The helmet model is FF-357 or S-07 LE Good vs.Evil - As seen here http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/...il-talla-l-_JM Tried looking for a compatible visor on motosport, but didn't find one. I am also worried whether it'll be a DIY affair, or would need a specialist to change the visor. EDIT : Found on revzilla - http://www.revzilla.com/product/sparx-s07-face-shield |

Well I generally either wash my visor in running water and let it dry, or use Colin and a soft cloth. Any better ways to clean? |

No visor Will have anti glare treatment. You get tinted glasses but they are useless at night. Try to maintain the visor scratch free by using a glass cleaner liquid and a microfiber cloth. Keeping your visor scratch free is the only way you can prevent glare. |

Back to topic, I'm looking to replace my LS2 - everyday lid with a decent helmet. Thinking of a plain black AGV K4 - Any suggestions? Would probably pick up from the USA. Budget would be around $200 |

ATGATT: All the gear all the time. Please invest in a good full face helmet and a crash jacket. Knee protectors and good shoes are also highly recommended. I would also advice getting your eyes tested. Have fun. If planning to ride with your better half, please get riding gear for her as well. |
