It seems to be cheaper than Cramster for sure. If it isn't really good, I would much rather go with a Breezer 2.0 or a Pulse.

I don't know about XElement, but Cramster was not much of a help when I crashed (see my post on the "How did you crash your bike..." thread), as a hole was torn in my arm and the armour shifted. The jacket material is too thin.
I would recommend a leather jacket (for winter) and a thick denim jacket (for summer) worn over strap-on forearm and elbow protectors.

I bought this lovely Zoo edition helmet today, it was made to celebrate Valentino Rossi's 2005 Valencia win that made him 7 times world champion. Only 2000 were ever made.

The helmet and the gloves came with a lot of other stuff for the bike so I don't know the exact duty for them but I think its close to 18%.
Shipping was expensive as we chose UPS.
Been researching on this lately quite often. ICON is not known to be very comfortable or quiet in bike forums. In this regard, I am seeing Shoei RF1000 or Suomy or ARAI earning very good respect amongst seasoned pros.
Anyway, that looks good, even though a little alien-prototype. :D

If you need a quiet helmet, skip the Suomy. I have a Suomy Extreme Spec-1R and it aint quiet :). If you need lightness and comfort fit, by all means go for the Suomy.
Well, so far I've shortlisted a Suomy Vandal (Bayliss Replica) & Shoei RF1000 Szoke TC-3 for my green Kawi. What I'm really having a difficulty, is in finding gears that compliment my bike's colors. Mine is a Green Ninja, so trying to find gears that go with it. But it is so very difficult compared to any other color to match the colors that it almost makes me feel repaint my beauty. But I won't do that, at least now, though White bikes these days is hot in US.
Guys, suggestions for riding gears matching a green bike are most welcome. please:

There is always this issue to listening to music while riding with Helmets. I have tried all sorts of earphones - in the ear, around the ear, through the brain... all of them aches after a while, aches like hell!
Is there a Helmet available with speakers built in or some sort of groove made to accommodate the earpieces? There must be some, it's a very basic requirement. Please post if you know of any such and the relevant prices.

i faced the same problem.. try these

you can press the foam and insert into the ear.. it shapes itself to fit your ear.. no aches.. got one for myself ;)
Daijya makes bluetooth enabled helmets, but the autnenticity of Daijya brand is questionable.

Searched for Dajiya, seems DSG of pune is their only indian distributor. But DSG website has no listing for these. Any idea where can I check this one out in Mumbai?
HJC and ICON helmets have pockets in the cheek pad for speakers.

Speakers?? The AGV I bought is pretty decent just have a problem with glasses and fogging up visor at times.
JVC Marshmellows and Koss are popular choice for an earplug inside helmet with an iPod on some of the forums I'm on.
Guys - i am planning to buy a pair of helmets for me and wifey. The budget is 1 - 1.5K max per helmet; not buying anything fancy before I get a fancy pair of wheels first :). Requirements are safety, decent style and full faced ones.
Can anyone suggest me any good recommended brands in the price range?
Also, I am going to Pondy this weekend. Will it be any cheaper to buy in Pondy?
Finally, would appreciate if you guys can suggest specific outlets to buy these in Chennai and Pondy. I am not sure about the online option some of you are using to buy your stuff? How do you guys check the size and fitting etc?
