My gears arrived today, a Teknic Chicane textile Jacket and Joe Rocket Blaster 4 gloves. The CE approved Knox armours in the jacket feels good. The jacket fits well and the armours sit in place properly. Gloves are comfortable and size matches fine, it needs breaking in though.

Here are a few photos.

And here's the photo of my new Indian AGV. Bought two visors for it, a blue tint one and plain. Last time i checked out an MPA AGV (more than 2 years ago) i wasn't impressed with it's liners, the new ones seems to be good.

Unfortunately my helmet is blue and the Jacket is red :-s

I bought the Alpinestars ACR jacket, but unfortunately, it was bit tight to me. The jacket is SMALL, and my dimensions are chest - 40, waist - 34. I have put up an ad in the classifieds, so if anyone wants to grab it, I believe its a great deal to have, to get it in local prices. Had I been smaller/jacket Medium, I wouldn't have to sale it!

Someone got real lucky! Orelse you'd be paying 15% duty on good plus shipping value.
Nice jacket though, I am eagerly awaiting a ride report as this one apparently is almost all textile with no mesh, right?

manson.

Lol... Yes i guess i was lucky! And i think the port of entry matters too. The package was defintely opened by the customs but everything was in there when i got it. Shipping was handled by USPS, i chose Interntional Express Mail. I ordered the stuff on Jan 21st, they dint have the Jacket in their warehouse, they got the jacket on 27th and USPS picked it up the same day. It reached our customs on Feb2nd at 758AM and was cleared at 923AM. It was delivered to my office yesterday. Tracking info was provided in the USPS website.

Manson, thanks man, the jacket is all textile and there's no mesh in it. Still it feels light and i don't feel uncomfortable in the humid and hot Trivandrum weather. Fits well too, I ordered based on the size of the shirt i wear. Armours are all seated properly in place, adjustments provided at forearm and elbow helps, and the armour does look like it can do it's job well.
