Yes but thank god for head restraints in all cars. I'm sure they all walked out without any severe injuries.

M800 Accident

Passed by this Accident about 5 days back on NH4, just short of Wallajapet.
As per the locals, the truck hit the M800 rear (as seen by the missing portion!!), the vehicle then went airborne(!!!) and apparently landed on its roof, no idea on casualties.
The truck on its part went out of control and off the road

You mean it flew through the air and flipped mid-flight? Well, I don't think we need to know about casualties. That is plain horrifying. I wonder how it happened though.

I saw this accident last week during my trip to Ambur. This accident took place just before the Arcot bridge, on the Ranipet byepass. Looking at the tire marks on the road, it looks like the car was reversing from the bridge to take the left which goes into Ranipet and was rear ended by the truck.

Freak accident at DEF COL red light tonite 11pm

A few hours ago i was heading towards to COCO BERRY from khan market and as we were about to take a left for def col, my friend screams where is this NHC stopped and in front we see this WHITE NHC sitting quietly above the Divider and then in front we see a Silver Merc E 280 with PB plates and Govt symbol in the middle. The NHC apparently had skidded across the road and jumped over the divider to hit the BENZ sitting quietly at the traffic light waiting for its signal.

DAMN!!!

The NHC is badly damaged but i thinkk thats because of hitting the DIVIDER and the BENZ has its fender damaged!

Yeh, I also saw this car on 23rd June lying on the load, just infront of CBD Belapur Police station. God knows what happened to the passengers!

Shucks! That means there was someone in the car! NH4 is no place to reverse. Go ahead and take a 'U' instead. I hope the driver survived this one.

When I saw the pics, I reacted typically - bigger vehicles fault. Didn't want to hear the bad news (for those who were in the car). After reading this, I feel like "another idiot learns the lesson or is off the road". No sympathies, except for the passengers if any.

I feel sorry for the passengers who died or were injured because of the idiot driver.

Saw a realy bad accident on the way to work this morning. It was where you take the left for Gurgaon and go straight for Karol Bagh just ahead of South campus. A dump truck on its side and a Swift which looked like it had it been from every possible angle, including the roof (it was pushed in) lying just behind the truck. Did anyone else see it?

Well the swift accident looked like a case of rash driving .
The swift was probably was overtaking from left of the truck when the swift guy realised there is a divider and collided with the truck. The truck driver in trying to saved him took a sharp turn resulting in overturning of truck.
So many accidents i see and i have learned that there is thin line seperating fast and rash driving.

From the looks of it the driver side and the rear bench was completely smashed so chances are low as the car also had toppled over .
May be the co driver could have escaped (Hope was wearing seat belts).
