Burning Gypsy at Shamshabad, Hyderabad NH7

Burning Gypsy at Shamshabad on NH7. Yesterday.

Add to that a Transit Mixer had overturned hours before. Look at the fear in the woman's eyes.

I am fed up with Hyderabad Traffic and AP Highways. Bikers and Three wheelers are so dumb, clumsy and careless. They swerve when u honk and laugh at you without helmets.

The stretch near Ramoji is so dangerous with curves but even small cars with families go the 'Monte Carlo' circuit.

The Innova crash it seems has happened due to mis-judgement on the part of the driver. ABS had nothing to do with it in my opinion.

@btirthankar : I think every Indian city has its own tale of such woes and thats the sad and sorry state of affairs of the way folks here in india ride with utter disregard and disrespect to others and their own lives. And Bikers they are the "FILL IN THE BLANK GUYS" .

Post number 901, 3rd picture the dude in the APE Piaggio is busy cutting across the median. Even the biker seems to have come from the same direction.

I have been on this bridge quite a number of times. There are two main bridges linking Bhuntar to the Manikaran/Kasol/Malana( yes of the Malana cream fame!) valley. One bridge can take two way traffic and one can only take one way traffic. This is the second one. Any updates on how it was removed?

Cant believe the number of truck accidents I have seen on a recent trip. The cause for most of these truck accidents is very obvious just by looking at the accident scene - driver falling asleep on the wheel.

Its sad because most of long distance truck drivers are very disiplined and they are pushed into driving at night for reasons beyond their control. I just wish Tata made faster trucks to take them to their destinations faster and also put in some safety feature to prevent drivers falling asleep at the wheel.

A Scorpio (looks new) that caught fire at my hometown last Saturday.

Cause attributed to short-circuit. Car fully burnt before the fire-service could extinguish the fire.

No-no SB, I was referring to another recent one on this thread -

I've taken the liberty of posting your link on that one. Hope you don't mind

According to the article it seems the fire started near AC vent and suspected to be short circuit. A bad ICE install is good enough i guess.

There is no part of the Express highway that doesn't have a divider. Can you imagine what would happen without it?!
