Best Route to Chorla Ghat - Need Advise

No, my trip is post Diwali, and hopefully things don't change by then. The one time I went there to Wildernest from the Goa side, just because the onward road to Belgaum was horrendous, I backtracked to Pune via Sawantwadi/Amboli. Direct via Belgaum would have saved me four hours, minimum.
I have heard more reports that it is an excellent road now. Condition post monsoons, remains to be seen.

I have used this route very frequently and know that the road is currently superb all the way to Belgaum. From Belgaum you can connect up to the NH 4 and the route opens up.
The road has just been redone on the Karnataka side.
