IMO,Manual is very pleasurable to drive.
AT is like driving a Toy Car.
If you are an enthusiastic Driver you won't love to drive AT cars.
DSG is very good to drive in City but the FE is 2Kmpl lesser than MT.
Check the Attached Road Test Data of AutoCar.

It might be too early to declare anything (I have been owning this car since 2nd Sep...) and in honeymoon with it right now...
So far I'm pretty happy. Yesterday took the car on long drive clocked about 300km in a day and it was a breeze!

Karthik, in Vinayaka Bangalore, I was originally offered:
- 15k corporate cash discount
- Sunfilm
- Mud flaps
- Matting

After quite a bit of bargain, I did manage following:
- Stanely leather upholstry (Satin grade) --> This included door trim and stearing wheel cover as well.
- Mud flap
- Matting

I thought of getting sunfilm from JC Road, BLR, costed me 3.5k. On the other hand, stanley woudl have costed 36k.
Though, matting was not of a great quality (not the PVC type), so had to get additional matting, that costed 1.1k

finally, i booked Laura Ambiente. I chose Silver colour. The dealer it is readily available. I need to make the full payment to get it delivered.

I am thinking of upgrading to the leather seats. May be,, i will do after few months of usage. Should i go thru the dealer or do it directly with Stanley.

Congrats for the new car.For the leather please get it done directly from stanley coz the laura delaer will rip you off.One of the fellow t-bhpian got his cedia stanleyed for around 22k.You can check it in the sound off section.

It is better to get it done directly from Stanley Boutique.
One caution though. While removing the OEM seat cover, they will have to remove all the knobs (tilt adjustment and lumbar support), please make sure these knobs are removed with caution, else there is a chance of these getting broken.
This happened on my car, but since it was Dealer getting the upholstery done for me, he had to replace it at their cost.

I currently own a Octavia L&K for 3 years(planning to upgrade it to the laura L&K in the coming week) bought it from Gurudev motors, all i can say is that you don't have to worry about the A.S.S. from Gurudev as it is very good, only thing is that parts will be on the expensive side and the service center is near Annanagar (good if you stay near there, bad for me as i stay on ECR)

i would get the car in the next 2 days. It seems it is readily available !! I was bit surprised. But he said these colour move out quick, so they keep stock. Hope he does not sell me an old vehicle !

You are right. The interiors are bit dark. i am thinking of upgrading to leather later ( after an year or so) with somem bright coloured seats atleast.

Hi...Congrats on your new Car...

I got my Laura Ambiente - Candy White delivered yesterday from Gurudev Chennai.

The dealer gave Teflon coating, Under Chassis Paint, Full Tank diesel & Floor mats as part of the deal.

Will post my experience soon.
