Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

What a contrast between these ads. A company, people made fun as sticker company is making product based ads. Where one of the best two wheeler company in the world does not show any of its products in the ad.

An immensely helpful ad from Ixigo:

Couldn't come at a better time! I am packing next weekend for a long trip.

My personal opinion -

Worst New Launch Ad of the recent past - Honda Mobilio - I guess there's no competition here!!

My favourite of the recent past n present - Audi A3 - tempts me for a showroom visit even though I have no plans on buying it!! Conveys the message so perfectly!

Giving the Mobilio ad close competition is the Elite i20 ad

I will give them both top awards for most irritating and senseless ads. I wonder how come such top manufacturers allow such ads for their cars.

Precisely! The Elite i20 ad where some random guys are trying to assault a 'cool dude' and he manages to squeeze through gaps a SUV cant and manages to out handle another SUV ( is that praise worthy now? )

No clear visual of the car or any of its features, there is no clarity about who is who in the ad, or what was the message that he was trying to convey ( the lady and the guy tracking the i20 driver say he is trying to convey something! )

Its a very silly concept that has been executed in a terrible manner. And the most annoying bit for me is the - 'You win, lovely rascal' line from that lady in the end Its like one of those utterly dumb villains from non-sense commercial pot boilers! Hyundai is just wasting money airing this ad IMHO.

Posting three commercials for Honda Accord that I absolutely loved when I was in the US.Simon and Garfunkel's song in the background provides a nice soothing touch

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

The i-20 Elite ad will take the 'Irony' award if it misses out in the 'Stupid' category to the Mobilio.

Hyundai has the cheek to 'compromise' on features (compared to the outgoing model), then run the campaign with the punchline 'Uncompromise'

This BMW ad is one of the best I've seen in recent times. Simple, sophisticated and tugs right at the petrol-head's driving heart (ignore the wrong series caption):

Not finding fault or anything but both adverts show the respective companies' products. What am I missing here?

There is no fault in the ads, both are nice ads. I just said that they are very contrasting ads. One focuses on brand and another on products.

Loving the Artize (Jaquar) ad.
Soundtrack is just great!!

On the other hand, Hritik's RADO ad is in Mobilio's league; or even worse may be!!
