I was having you broadband here in Gurgaon. Not happy with the service at all. There is downtime of 5-6 days a month atleast.
Planning to get some other connection. Any recommendations? I stay in DLF-5.

The best part is that the device comes with an internal battery, which means you can move it about quite easily & tide over short interruptions in power.

My device is ZTE LTE CPE MF29 - not quite sure if it has internal battery :(
(quite annoying to have VPN dropping every time power goes on and off)
Fortunately, I never had problems with the signal. (Maybe there is a Airtel tower near by - maybe because my apartment has open space around)
As
im_srini suggested, for potential buyers;would be a good idea to get a demo before spending 4K+.

Does anybody know if I can use the sim from the router in my LTE enabled phone (mine is nexus 5) ?
Anyone tried service provider apart from BSNL and Airtel in Viman Nagar, Pune? I am looking for ISP who can provide minimum speed of 1 MBPS with an unlimited download plan. Any opinion on YOU and Hathway service in Viman Nagar?
Has anybody tried 'ACT' fiber broadband in Chennai? Their offer seems quite decent and they seem to be the only fiber broadband provider in Chennai!!
BEAM fiber died for 12+ hours and just resumed service now. The longest downtime in 8months of use. They put their Customer Service line off hook, and I didn't receive any SMS from them about network issues (like I generally do) either.
I have a Reliance Data Card unlimited plan.
5GB @2MBPS and the at 144KBPS. Monthly bill- Rs. 842/-.
Also have a Vodafone 3G plan which I sometimes use as a hot spot and speed in upto 2MBPS. Bill- Office provided!

The first one, its a very expensive, and very slow plan for a data card.
For instance, an MTS wifi hot spot dongle, 5 gb, at 4-6 mbps is coming out for me at 650 bucks a month.
How is MTNL 3G in Delhi?
I need a 3G prepaid connection 2GB limit in Delhi. Any suggestions?

Correctly quoted Mayank. However, my only fear is that I stay at Kasarvadawali, Thane and dont really know if MTS wifi dongle will work here or not.
The Reliance data card is giving ok speed and am able to download about 5-6 movies per month(approx. 7-8 hours per download).
I am on rent so preference will be for dongle only and not Airtel Wifi/broadband for ease of movement.
I'm paying about Rs. 2000 a month for a 16 MBPS connection from Airtel, reckon it's a bit too much. I've been toying with the idea of switching to
Smartlink, but don't know how it is. They're offering a minimum speed of 10 MBPS upto 60 MBPS for about Rs. 1400 a month. Anyone with any experience of them?
Any suggestions for best internet for home in Yerwada area, Pune? I am currently using Reliance 10GB 3.11MBPS plan for around 900rs per month.
Any clue when Reliance Jio will come into action and what can be expected out of them ?
I use BSNL broadband for a monthly charge of 899/- (800 base price+ 99 tax), plan is "BB Home Combo ULD 800". I have been using BSNL for last 3+ years and negligible down time with network. Speed is just 1Mbps and not very advanced in Today's age. However, I do not have any plans to switch until I have reliable alternative.
