Now 12 of last 6. Amazing match this one! In fact, 11 runs to sail through.
Bro, your score posts are coming like Internet Explorer

NZ done it.

NZ is through. Elliot is the man of the moment! Big disappointment for SA.

Good job NZ chasing this down. So they choked again! Awesome match though.

Re: Cricket: The World Cup 2015 Thread

If the IND/AUS game turns out to be a close one, I'd bet on NZ to win the final, irrespective of opponents!
No shame is losing a game like this, tough to swallow though. Chokers? No way! Every losing side is a choker in a closely contested game by that logic.

Game of the tournament by far.

Yup, me thinks it will be a NZ AUS final. Hopefully NZ can take the Cup then!

SA played beautifully today. Feeling so bad for them, was rooting for SA to win this match!

It was a close match. Choking is when they lose from winning position, when they commit silly mistakes, delay winning and finally end up losing. Here they didn't choke. Both teams dropped catches, missed runouts but NZ chased exceptionally well.

That is so a wrong word to use in the context of the match played today.
What a phenomenal match, I wish for a similar contest on Thursday and India winning it.

But in my hearts to heart - I know its Aus vs NZ.

NZ has finally got over the line in their 6th attempt and SA in their 4th. Whichever team lost, would have the scars. Nothing wrong in losing in a match like this. This has been the match of the tournament thus far.

India or Australia, it will be NZ I'd be rooting for

Ah, didn't mean any offense guys. But that tag has always been associated with SA in the World Cup and I am sure many newspapers will be saying just that about them losing the match today.

Though I couldn't read all of that due to the watermark, I agree with the gist of it. This is the kind of cricket I like. No cheap gimmicks, no words, no sledging. Just pure game.

Yup ABD would have taken SA to 300+ without rain.

Re: Cricket: The World Cup 2015 Thread

Will hurry home and catch up with the highlights of the match. Really feel bad for SA but both the times played well and the useless rain spoiled it in the first innings. I assumed the revised D/L score to be somewhere around 320’ish knowing that SA would have blasted in the remaining overs. Good luck for the finals NZ!

Sigh, Thursday’s match! :( Best of luck Dhoni & Co. You have our support!
