Hi folks,
I am looking for a Autoart Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni Edition (1/18) preferably in Verde Ithaca/Metallic Green.
When it was available easily, I didn't purchase it and now when I want one I am unable find it...
So if anyone knows any source/ dealer/ member having the same and wanting to sell it, kindly update me...
Thanks a ton in advance..! |
Verde Ithaca was sold out long long back. It sells on eBay for $250+, if at all available. Your only source is a diecast shop somewhere around the world which might still have it in Stock. For eg, Automania in Prabhadevi, Mumbai still has loads of G55 AMG models while they're pretty rare around the world.
Gift Centre at Fort, Mumbai still has a Balboni edition, but I guess it's white. Can't recollect.

Hi,
Please check your PM. I've been looking around for these from sometime.
I bought these two E30 fujimi kits from a japanese site(along with a 911 for when I'm more skilled at kit building as it's more detailed) after I went E30 crazy.
They took about a month to reach, a very long and worrisome month!
I started off with washing the whole kit in soapy water and painting the wheels as soon as i got it
BBS cross spokes or Alpina? I always pick Alpinaclap:
I had to wait a few months to start, started with the 325i, and when I did, I had forgotten to take pictures along the way! it's nearly the same so will take more as i do the M3.I painted the interior with acrylic paint for detail and it's less time consuming. will need to fix some spots.
Even though this kit isn't the most detailed, the amount of detail is still surprising.
notice the gear knob!!:Shockked:
The kit also gives many options, like the seats(two types and a NOS bottle in this kit), steering wheels, and spoilers.
I have cut open a gap for the sun roof instead of painting it black there, will document it on the M3. will put in an acrylic sheet to replicate glass.
Will be painting the bodies in automotive paint, the 325i in "zobelbraun" to make it like the "1:1 scale model"
And LED head lights and tail lights as my special touch to it, need to change the type of LED's and mask them so they don't light up the bodies.
just the day before started the kit and day after getting the "1:1 scale model" I found this!
This is my first kit and Thread so please excuse any mistakes and I'm open to suggestions!
picked up the paint but can't find adapters to use my new air brush with the compressor.
using a dremel i cut through the roof to make a hole for the sun roof
swapped the interiors and fixed the red one seats, 325i interior is now similar to mine. M3 now has the red interior.
hope i soon manage to use my air brush and finish the bodies
Does anyone know where I can find the same model hot wheels? it comes in two more colors, trying to find them and have a full set.
Does anyone here have any idea about Newray and Maisto bike models? I want to buy a ducati monster 1100 but I don't know which brand to zero-in on, both look great..
Some say Maisto is better while the others say that Newray has a tremendous nick to detail..
Please help!
Just to update , I visted Hamley's at Phoenix Mall Bangalore after a long time and they seem to have got a good collection of diecast models and plastic model kits from Academy and Airfix. Also spotted a 1:18 Silver Saleen S7 price approx 2k.

Last time I went, there was nothing in 1:43 scale. Are there some now?
Same story with ModelArt too.
Here is one (of the two - one is black & other is white) which my friend had few months ago.

Hi Shankar, you are right no 1:43 quite a few 1:18 and 1:24. ModelArt also has changed, fewer models and more into the RC world.

Yes, irritatingly they have cut down their lovely AutoArt collection so I am no longer too keen on their shop.
