For some reason, I only removed the model from the case now. The 550 Spyder in all its detail.

This is indeed a great model from Maisto and with bit of detailing this will look premium.

Made these wall arts with some of my F1 scale models. :)

What can I say other than - Bellissimo. What an excellent effort. I have been toying with the same idea to do on some of my classic cars.

I buy 1:18 models of cars I've own/owned.

I also found a nice mini garage like shelf on Amazon to display these. It has led lights as well. Eventually, the models will go up on a wall with a plaque for each having details like year, model, variant etc.

There are a couple more that I haven't taken pictures of yet - BYD Seal, Kia EV9.

I haven't found models for Kia Sonet, Jeep Compass Facelift, Chevrolet Bolt EUV, Lucid Air.

And it has been hard to get larger models for some cars like the Kia EV9 and Kia EV6.

If anyone knows of a manufacturer / contact that is willing to custom create these, please let me know.

Most of these are 1:18, few are 1:24 and 2 are 1:38. Most of them open doors, boot, trunk and have very good detailing on the inside and turn wheels with steering.

Pics below, adding more in subsequent post.

Continued with additional pictures...

Those look good enough to sell! You should think about making more and putting them up for sale online? (I'd buy a Ferrari superimposed on Monza!)

(But will you run into copyright issues? Re-sale of scale models, copyright on track images, etc.)

Thanks :) And yes, creating similar ones with classic cars would look fantastic as well.

That's a great idea! I'll definitely DM you if I make another Ferrari Monza frame :) Making a few more shouldn’t be an issue, as long as it’s not purely for commercial purposes.

Beautiful idea superimposing the cars onto the line maps of the race tracks. Lovely frames too.

Thank you :)

I saw the same wall-art on the Formula 1 sub-reddit.

Yes I've posted them on F1 sub-reddit as well.

Looks good, however i would advise you to remove that thread and somehow stick the car to the wall, that would make it look even more better. The thread is making it look unrealistic IMO.

Wall hanging stickers can be used , as they can be concealed behind the car body.

Seems like this is mostly about cars, so excuse me if this is the wrong place to ask.

Are there any companies which make decent quality motorcycle scale models, who also have a wide range of models (and not just 1000cc supersports)? Thanks!

Maisto makes good-quality, officially licensed motorcycle scale models.

You get bike models by Maisto, Bburago and Welly. But the latter two have very limited models. You can browse through scalearts.in website to check more models from MSZ which are a bit expensive.

One that was built in response to an oil crisis, and one that single handedly caused an oil crisis :D:

1. 1:18 Norev Benz W115 200D
2. 1:18 Maisto 1959 Cadillac Eldorado
