It looks fab! Can you share the link to order? Thanks

Damn that looks super gorgeous. Sure the interiors would be as detailed as the exterior. Can you send the link where you got this from?

Got a couple of workhorse Mercs.

1. W115 240D Lang Frankfurt Taxi. Quite a well detailed model, though it is mislabelled as a W123.

2. 2020 Mercedes Sprinter Panel Van.

This was hand carried by my friend from Shanghai. He saw it in one of the stores and had sent the pictures. It was too good to resist.

Lord. What a beautiful collection!
I remember seeing that Innova/Kijang at a bookstore in Cochin around 8-9yrs back. I severely regret not picking it up that day.. such a beautiful model. It's a norev model and costs 300INR, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If anyone can share a link with me on where i can get a Kijang model similar to it, I'd be very grateful.

Also, your E90 and 212 Pre-FL models are so beautiful. Love to see it. Please share their makes and scales if possible. Lovely cars.

And i agree with you so much on the sentiments! Scalpers and Import restrictions ruined the fun by a huge extent. I now pick up cars whenever i travel, be it in India or abroad, and i also have friends send in diecasts from across the globe. Obviously it's slowed down the pace in which i add cars to my collection, but every car has a story and it makes my collection more special to me. Seeing every other wannabe try to make a quick buck off of what is supposed to be a cheap hobby saddens me, and I can only hope that this fad dies out quick.

At what cost and who's the seller?

Got this little Urus Performante yesterday. 1:40 scale, made by Kinsmart.

The Toyota Innova Kijang was made by Welly a Hong Kong based diecast manufacturer back then. Yes, it was quite unique and detailed piece for a decent price. The BMW E90 was Welly made and the Merc W212 was Maisto made.

Norev models were pretty expensive back then and were only exclusive to some shops. I remember seeing a Fiat Linea & Punto model by Norev in some shop. Even Tata Motors made a detailed model of Arya, Manza, Indica Vista, Zest with the help of Norev, if I'm not wrong.

Importing stuff from friends or bringing along something on our way back is the only way I see. Recently I have asked one my knowns to get the Hot Wheels Team Transport Mercedes-Benz 300SL With 1955 Blaues Wunder. Will be sharing the pics once I get it in hands.

Received this highly detailed 1:18 scale Bentley Mulsanne, licensed model made by a company named Rastar. The quality control could have been better here, but overall it’s a good value. Attaching pictures.

Scale model gurus, can someone suggest a good showcase for hot wheels’ models? I found a bunch of cars from my childhood and want to restore them and put them up in a nice showcase. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Got myself a Toyota GR Supra from Maisto in 1/24 scale.

On that note, Merry Xmas to all.

Loved the mod, looks more close to a real one now. Can you please guide as how did you tint the glasses and alloys?

Got the same one, same colour back in 2017. Rastar has done a decent job though fit and finish isnt the best. Still decent for the asking price.

When I did the initial mods, I wasn't sure how far ahead I would proceed with taking it apart and working on it, so I used a marker for the mods. On a BRZ model which I slightly customised, I took apart the wheels and tyres and spray painted it.
