Thanks Avinash. This one’s a special edition Bburago.
Just got my hands on this. 1:43 Jeep CJ2A, Eva Peron foundation:
Through out my childhood, my world was hotwheels, matchbox and other miniatures and anything that could go along with it. Soap boxes, match boxes, just anything. My collection was more than 100 cars and then decades later, I was blessed with a baby boy and he took over the collection. Few survived. I later realized that I should have introduced him to the collection when he was ready for it. Today he takes such good care of his scaled models that few stay in the box unopened. He calls it mint condition. Anyway, that was a lesson learnt the hard way.
There was a small gap between one of my my job changes in which I got reintroduced to scaled models and I build my first diorama. I wrote about it over here.

Now with this my thirst to make it a little more refined increased. I sat with my regular carpenter and designed a simple but effective showcase to keep them safe. The final result was something I really liked. He did it the way I visualized it.
It's got glass on 3 sides and each shelf has it's own illumination source. The carpenter himself got pretty involved to get this right.
The first shelf has my son's 1:64 collection now and a very few of mine. Most of them are his. These are again 100+ now.
The second shelf has new age cars.
Ferrari FXX K (Bburago) 1:18 along with 1:18 Stig and Bigfoot garage set
2021 Ford GT Heritage Edition with a street racer figure
2020 Dodge Challenger. Scat pack wide body goldrush
2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500
Ducati Super Naked
Ducati 1098 S Tricolor
The second shelf has the vintages
The MK1 Ambassador with a 70s figure
2000 Subaru Imprezza S5 Night Version
1968 Ford Mustang GT Cobra Jet
There is a Mazda, Bentley, a S.W.A.T jeep and a F50 as well which is not in great shape and is kept there as a place holder for now.
The top shelf is kept relatively empty.
1:12 Yamaha Movistar
An F1 collectible that I picked up from the Shell Petrol Pump.

I am not hurrying and growing this rather slowly with some good stuff. While searching, I was glued on to Amaldam (
https://www.amalgamcollection.com/) collection but then I woke up to reality. Well, someday !
Guys visited the thread after many many years and its great to see a good activity over here. I have been collecting and increasing my collection. It is more streamlined and I also do click pictures. Attaching one image of the 1:18 VW Dune Buggy by Solido along with Captain Haddock in Goa India.

Can anyone help me with finding scale model for the RE Thunderbird 500X. Could not find it anywhere. Need to give it as a gift to a friend.

It looks more like a CJ3B given the height of the hood/bonnet, the CJ2A was much lower, as below.

Had a wild question in my mind, what if the Premier Padmini had a hatch back version?

There were a few Fiat Premier station wagons and hatchbacks in the 1970’s. My friend’s father had one - Red with a white roof. A very practical car for family and luggage.
Im not sure whether they came from the factory or whether they were coach built. Because for a time, Fiat/ Premier also sold the chassis and engine combo allowing the buyer to make it into a light truck or station wagon or similar.

Bro, yes CJ2A had low bonnet. But the scale model in pictures is actually a CJ2A/ 3A looking at other details. Yes the bonnet height is incorrect.
Got a scale model of the Bentley State Limousine, used by queen Elizabeth II. Size is 1:76, made by UK based Oxford Diecast:
