Are Hotwheels getting banned or the license not getting renewed in India soon? Saw this in a few Facebook pages. I’ve recently restarted collecting Hotwheels, if this is true, very disappointed

I don't think Hot Wheels cars are currently banned in India. According to Google, Hot Wheels was banned in 2019 due to the presence of harmful chemicals in the paints and plastic components of the cars. However, the company worked with regulatory authorities to improve the safety and quality of their products, so the ban was later lifted.

Hotwheels are very much available. Just bought some of these today.

They are available but somehow finding them hard to get or the local toy shops have started selling random brands for better margins

Had a wild question in my mind, what if the Premier Padmini had a hatch back version?

In the late 80's with the onslaught of Maruti 800, what if Premier gave a thought of having a 2 box version of the car?

So recently tried my hand at customising a Centy toys based Padmini Premier from a sedan to a hatchback.
Chopped off the boot and created a custom hatch, matching the slope profile of the rear windscreen.
Was inspired from Mr. Bean's mini car.
