re: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is no more

He died doing what he loved the most, to be with students and teachers. May God bless this enlightened soul.

I had the privilege of hearing his speech in person when he visited my hometown in 2003.

Rarely does a man rise, fighting all odds and help build a nation, inspiring millions throughout.

RIP Dr Kalam, you are still an inspiration for all Indians and respected by all, which we can't say for everyone.

The only true statesman of our generation has passed away... his shoes won't be filled for a long time.

Extremely shocked and heart broken to learn of his passing. He was a true gentleman and visionary.
I so vividly remember him coming to our school in the year 2001-02 before being sworn in as president. A very humble guy. There wasn't an iota of negativity around him.
He passed while doing what he loved most - interact with students and spread knowledge.
R.I.P sir.

re: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is no more

The defining moment of a leader is in his ability to look beyond himself and into the tomorrow to find ways to influence the future & make a better past to remember.

Possibly the best President India had and a man who lived fully to his roots and ideologies. A man who without talking showed us what it means to be Indian. Its sad that not many heard his quiet whispers of wisdom, be it inside a thatched hut government school or in prestigious institutes.

A man's legacy is cemented by the respect he gets after the inevitable, going by the people's responses today Mr.Abdul Kalam should be happy for the thousands he influenced with his mix of simplicity, brilliance & selflessness.

Extremely saddened and shocked to hear this. A great visionary who always loved to motivate and interact with the students.
