1:72 Kamov Ka-50 Hokum-A Russian Air Force, Yellow 21 (Easy Model)
The Kamov Ka-50 "Hokum A" is a single-seat Russian attack & heavily armed scout helicopter with the distinctive coaxial rotor system of the Kamov design bureau. It was designed in the 1980s and adopted for service in the Russian army in 1995. The Ka-50 Hokum-A or Black Shark was first flown on June 17th, 1982.
It was the first operational helicopter to have an ejection seat for the pilot. The Ka-50 is fitted with a NPP Zvezda K-37-800 ejection seat. Before the rocket in the ejection seat deploys, the rotor blades are blown away by explosive charges in the rotor disc and the canopy is jettisoned. Video below (from its two seat & upgraded variant the Ka-52 Hokum-B):
The aircraft has one Shipunov 2A42 30mm autocannon mounted on the starboard side. This autocannon is mounted near the centre of fuselage. The cannon is semi-rigidly fixed on the helicopter's side, movable only slightly in elevation and azimuth.Anti-tank armament comprises twelve laser-guided Vikhr anti-tank missiles, alternatively it can also use Ataka laser-guided anti-tank missiles. It can also carry several rocket pods, including the S-13 and S-8 rockets.
