Who cleans your car(s) ?

Who cleans you car(s) regularly - YOU or the hired help ? In my case, I explicitly forbid anyone from touching my car and clean/wash/polish the car myself regularly - even people in my friends' cricle couldnt believe that a car owner cleans his car himself. What is this world coming to?!

I agree with you theMAG...In fact I too never allow anyone to even touch my car lest drive it. Also, I have given my car the 3M car detailing treatment that covers the paint, under chassis, panels(for rust prevention), tyres (dressing) and it is in great shape all the time..In addition to this I pamper my baby almost evryday or whenever am in a mood or free to clean her up !! Hows that !

My dog licks it clean. He even does a tyre-polish on 3 legs.

He understands I'm too old for this sorta exercise.

Clean it myself, but take it for thorough wash & wax at the Carwash weekly.

Well my staff does the washing since we don't have any drivers but they are well trained after all the scoldings & abuses from me. If it's to be waxed then I make it a point to do it myself.

Unfortunately I can't do it too often due to a back condition. Rest I trust a very high-quality independent garage to care of the professional polishing & detailing for me. They do a BLOODY GOOD job

We have a gentleman who does the chores for us. The cars and bikes are washed and cleaned everyday with proper liquids.

I take my turn on weekends and clean everything inside out, check oils and fuel and tyre pressure on this day. takes around 2-3 hours.

But am in Toronto since some time and havent got a chance to do the cleaning.

I have a hired help doing the cleaning on week days. Every Sunday I do the cleaning myself.
By the way, does anybody here use one of those car battery powered vacuum cleaners? I saw one at Hypercity some time back, but it seemed pretty feeble. My car is too far from any electric plug point to use a regular powered vacuum cleaner. And I hate getting my car dirty, even the carpet.

I have hired a help... This guy really does a neat job. Takes care of the car very well. I trust him. Only problem is that he takes off too often. On those days the car is usually un attended. Saturday mid day is the time for pampering the baby with polish/wax and a thoroughh check up which include all the fluid checks.
