Trance, soft rock, hard R, heavy metal, HipHop all go for me. It all depends on the mood.
Biggest fav song is "Hotel California" by eagles. This trackis the best benchmark test for any audio systems' performance.
I listen to lots of Telugu songs especially Telugu MASS songs from movies...

God bless Mp3 !!

LOL this reminds me of something that happened around 3 years back. My girlfriend had bought a balloon (not that dil-shaped one but an ordinary one) one evening when we were on a date. It was around 11 - 11:30 in the night when i was returning home after dropping her. I was listening to exactly this song, Fear Of The Dark, when all of a sudden, the balloon (which i had completely forgotten about) starts rising from the floor on the passenger side. In my peripheral vision it was as if a bald guy is rearing his head, coming out of my car's floor. A huge gasp, a harmless swerve and a few seconds later, i was laughing non stop for 5 minutes.

Anyways, my favourites while driving:

Destination Anywhere, the complete album by Bon Jovi
Chaos AD by Sepultura
101 Proof (specially Walk) by Pantera
Temple of the King by Rainbow
Mutiyaar from the movie Boom
Lots of songs by Journey, specially Only The Young, Open Arms etc etc.

Cheers

Well, quite an interesting topic. Thanks.
My song preferrence changes according to company. When I am alone, I like anything from world/new age genre. Particularly my fav artistes are ENIGMA, Deep Forest and Michael Cretu. When with family, mostly listen to semi classical. Piya Bavari most of the times. That CD is always in my car. and not to forget; I listen to Marathi Songs every now and then. The above 2 preferrences are for long drives. Otherwise, marathi or FM.

Hey all,
I am a video game buff, so i have extracted NFS tracks and listen to them while im the car. My favourite one is "Get Low (NFS UNderground)"
I think NFS soundtracks are great.
I have also extracted radio stations from GTA 3 and GTA Vice City: they are quite amusing to listen to, if u know what i am talking about
I occasionally also listen to Punjabi music.
