Well, like I said, this is the only reason I'm still friends with Stumpy. To date, has refused to hand over keys only once in maybe a hundred times. I know his car almost as well as my own. Is known to be psychosomatic wrt his car, has new (definitions of) problems with chassis flex and cam hunt every few days. Keeps raving about (lack of) torque as compared to 'last week'. 'She is/was flying/slow compared to last week' is something we hear every 2 days. Has been known to redefine a lot of automotive terms and symptoms, especially late at night when afflicted by a lack of sleep. Is a truly intuitive driver and rider, and probably one of the best I've come across.

Five stars to you, Stumps. And to Tunner Uncle. And to all of us, (not) working tirelessly behind the scenes, to support your modding/racing/tunning career. From Jay to memo to Vasu to yours truly.

Now will you please publicly thank me, so that I can stand head held high alongside Tunner Uncle, F&F, and your dad?

Thats quite a writeup Mcl... sure it does speak about your passion towards owning a fast car and also win races!!! Things are no different with other mod mad people too...but your writeup definitely throws up lotta unrevealed feelings thats part of every you and I's...

Wish u luck with your future mods and dont forget to rememeber my words that I shared with you via PM a week or so back.

Wolf, can we look forward to something similar from your side? I have seen the effort you have put into your car, and I'd love to see you share it with us.

Wolf is one of the quiet guys i have seen.. He will not tell what is under that hood of the vtec.. I have a feeling that he has one of the TypeR fully blown civic engine.. and intentionally does not rev the car much and also falls back from races just to have a good laugh to himself.

There you go .. I couldn't have come up with that !!

I wish you had gone on and on writing ..... I keep logging back in just hoping that I see something more added but so far NO LUCK !!!
Most things are good when kept quite sweet and short .. But this was more of a rant .. Will spare you guys a bit ..

Akshay , I will never stop cribbing .. Infact I am guessing that the problem was with the fuel .. Car is flying since the day we spoke .. And yes , the torque is back .. Tomorrow you will hear me say the exact opposite ..

I mclaren1885 publically thank Koli (meaning chicken in kannada) for all the support and courage .. And those endless hours we spent discussing about cars , builds , driving styles , for those tips on Mileages driving , for getting me the neova's and troubling F&F with I am bored TOYC .. Times wouldn't have been more interesting without you guys .. And you and memo are two people I am glad that I met .. So shall we head to the track then ??

He is playing the silent killer I tell you .. He is waiting for the storm to brew up .. And then he will finally come with a bang and wipe out everything .. And then peace will prevail and stomp Honda VTEC authority forever ..
On a more serious note , ritesh we would be glad to hear your end of the story ..

way to go stumpy. You have done so much on your car that only few of us have dreamed of AND had the guts and grit to go ahead with.

i know how it feels everytime something goes wrong with the car. In my case a simple issue with my muffler upset me so much that i was venting out on people... apologies to them... sincerely...

i've been wanting to do so much on the car but i guess that'll have to wait till i return to blore for good... (cos my M800 will then serve as a daily drive).... your determintation and patience has earned my respect pal... seriously.... hats off to you...

Just wish that you reach your goal... whether its on the drag strip or on track... you have it in you to put india on the map... All the best... keep the spirit alive...

I think your parents deserve a pat on the back as much as you do. Looks like they have been unflinching in their support to you inspite of the crazy things you have done with your car. Waiting to hear more from you.
cheers

Lol... great show Rahul!

Nice read, nice car, and waiting to sit in it (READ: not drive it). Just be careful and hope nothing like your zen happens to her.

See ya when (and IF) I ever come to Bangy. My trip keeps getting postponed... I already owe Akshay (V1p3r) an 'all you can drink' beer night!

Awesome writeup mclaren... straight from the heart and thats what glorifies it more. It was nice to see your passion for your ride. Hope some affluent banglore car sports lover goes through this writeup and is inspired to build a race track and sponsor you to race on it someday soon.

Bombat write up man...have been following your cars build right from the days you crashed your Zen and i was wondering "what a crazy kid"..i was thinking the same when we met up for the nandi hills drive.. i know passion comes from deep within ur heart and great to see you openup in your writing. Amazing to see your passion for cars and spirit to go through hardships at your age..Desteny is what you make and i am sure you will handle it with care !! Atleast we can expect to see something totaly out of this land when you are earning and single and all your money goes into modding cars.. something like a under 9 sec car in future.
best of luck!!
