I think its time to update this thread. Part I revolves around the happy moments. Its about time in bring forward the de-merits of "what it takes to own a modded ride" as well. Stay tuned!

Dark side....man tell me about it, we all have that certain shadow area about modded rides..well some of us wouldn't share it considering the fact that they're skills would be questioned. but believe me it takes a whole lot of energy out of you..first hand experience here bro! so share it! so others can learn from your remorse..

Sad to know that how your modding experience went to good from bad and screwed relationships in the process as well. The conclusion from your escapades is that the modding scene in India is hopelessly dissapointing, lack of engineering, equipment and parts means that there is a lot of hit and trial involved. The sad part is the promises that some very distinguished tuners make. I have heard members on this forum whome I have met, who have a piggy bank on Ikon claiming 20 bhp gains etc. These are just mental as opposed to real brake horse power gains. If you want to go for mods, my suggestion is limit yourself to cosmetic mods (that too age very badly) or just buy an outright fast car. Relying on good sticker jobs or false claims would end in heart brake.

Boy O Boy, I don’t know how I missed out this thread dude. More than you I would like to appreciate your father who has backed you up. My dad has made it very clear that he would not be supporting me on my car or bike as he dint like what I liked.

My friend Niju, was asking me to read this thread from a long time. But today he sent me the links, I have cancelled my call which I was supposed to attend and also sacrificed my sleep and read this. I am getting ready to read “Dark side of modding”
