Watch the "Haunting" on discovery these days and its superb. Their role play is quite chilling and almost real.

Had fun!

Another serial that i started watching lately is "Andrew Zimmerman's Bizzare food"

oh boy ! There is a lot of gross things shown on this show. Even AZ seems to flinch to eat those gory stuff. Stay away if you have a weak stomach.

Nothing to beat Man Vs.Food, Planet Food and HOMP

Two and a half men is still great. But with Charlie Sheen's current lifestyle I dont know how long before the series ends abruptly.
Few other shows I enjoy watching these days:
1 Royal Pains
2 S**t My dad says
3 Mike and Molly
4 The Big Bang Theory
5 Friends (for like the 1 millionth time)
6 Entourage
7 Weeds
8. White Collar
9 Modern Family (when really really bored)
10. Ice road Truckers
11 Amazing race (just started with 1st season)
12 CSI

How I met your mother has lost its thing.

PS: Damn now I see why I have no time to study.

+1 to Man vs Food. I am envious of Adam Richman and I want his job period.
Some others that I like are 'No Reservations' presented by Anthony Bourdain; Vinod Dua's Zaika India Ka and HOMP (sliding down this season).

On the other end I watch
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa;
Wheeler Dealer;
Auto Trader;
American Chopper;
Boys Toy's Building the Ultimate....;
Weaponology;
Mega Cities;
What's that about;
How do they make it;
Extreme Engineering;
Samantha Brown's travel show;
Six degrees of separation (now off air);
Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma (now dying a slow death),
America's funniest home videos;
Boston Legal and
JAG (once again) and last but not the least
Aahat in the hope that one of these days we will see a true blue horror series.

Stopped watching Monk, Who's line is it anyway, 30 Rock, Frasier that's almost everything on Star World and Comedy Circus.

Too much TV well essentially whatever I can catch from the above between 2300 & 0100 hrs except some like S.R.G.M.P. and Taarak that my folks watch too.

+1 to that, PB is one hell of a ride and i feel that season 1 was the best, and the pilot episode gives a total roundabout of all the characters. Make sure you have nice volume and see that you listen to 'scofield' because sometimes i feel that he just murmurs something. Other than that after two-three episodes you will get a hang of it and its characters, which you wont repent watching it.

I've taken a liking to the new series on Star World, Modern Family.

The humor is situational, just the way I like it! And it's great to finally see a comedy-series that isn't seasoned with canned-laughter after every joke! It leaves you thinking, at times. But it's great!

By the way, the new, 8th season of Two And A Half Men is out. Almost every dialogue is like a punch-line! And Jake, the kid, looks older and a bit of a twit to be honest. Liked him when he was still a 'half'.

You could say that!

But it is actually, quite funny! I'm not familiar with the characters yet (except for the Latina ) but yesterday's episode where the father-in-law flies his model-plane into his son-in-law was hilarious! I nearly had a catch in my stomach!

I agree. Actually, i watch almost EVERY food show...And, come to think of it i dont even enter kitchen at home ( totally averse to cooking)

I am still unable to digest the fact that Anthony Bourdain ( I would love to look exactly like him at 50) is so fit despite the show they are into. Loses a bit of credibility, Adam looks his part.

Same thing goes for that model ( forgot his name) who comes on Chak Le India. He actually eats in front of camera and still maintains that paper thin look.

All i can say is they are lucky fellas ( wistfully...)

I will consider myself lucky if I am able to eat and enjoy the food that they show at 50 and beyond plus have someone like Nigella Lawson cook for and (fondly) feed me

I am biased to the Star World shows. My top 5:-

Lie to me - Dr Lightman is so goofy and so itellighent
White Collar - The chemistry between the two good lookingmen is mind blowing
Bones - some serious stuff packed with lot of punch
How I met your mother - Funrry, really funny
Modern family - is a regreshing change
Castle - do I really have to explain

Friends still remains an all time favourite. For me friends is to tv shows just like "jaane bhi do yaaro and andaz apna apna" are to hindi cinema.

On a different note - detest all the endless sloppy sagas on star plus, zee and imagine. They are either shedding tears in a state of depression or just continously overdressed for weddings and festivals. Where is the entertainment???

Discovery Turbo and Science.
Still hunting for a decent new piece! Times now was good, but lately it seems to have the tendency to be obsessed with just one thing-Pull down the ones in Power. It is good to be skeptical, but too much of anything is bad.
Movies - Any time !! HBO, Star Movies, MGM.. depending on whats on air and whats on my mind.

womanonwheels: It seems to be working in India, Big Boss is also hosting a wedding!! God, how ridiculous can these people get?

@Exhuast Note - unfortunately, it is working. For India, advertisement or media or cinema has to be full of drama and emotions. If you take a closer look at our advertisements, most of them sell products because of the emotional value rather than the USP of the product. Cadbury wants to sell chocolates because mumd want kids to eat something sweet before a venture. Surf excel sells because 'daag ache hain" Hero Honda sells because of its "desh ki dhadkan" punchline. The list is endless.

The big boss saga however crossed all its limits off late. All the abuses and fights... I wonder how low will they stoop. 50% of the show is beeped. Its ironic that from serials like Hum Log, Rajini, Wagle Ki duniya and Mungeri Lal ke haseen sapne, we have moved to idiotic and vulgar big boss, splitsville and emotional atyachar. Its anything but a reality show. The wedding for instance, it seems, already took place last year between the two. This is just a tactic to boost the TRP
