@tsk1979 : Mate these are awesome, did you by any chance take an appointment with Nature stating that you are arriving with your 4 wheel armada and wanted to have the skies clear so that you can capture these amazing pics :-).

Well I wish we had. We got only 3 clear nights, well not even three, 2 clear nights, and 3 clear days.

As told by other members Tata should actually reward you and should use them to show that Safari can take you anywhere. The background of the photographs really add to the beauty. I must say you have a good sense of photography.

Actually, barely days after our trip, another safari 4x4 made it to here. Infact that black 4x4 went to chumur also, and Tso moriri via Ungti La. So you have the 4x4 safari's treading where no vehicles tread.

I got a lot of shots, will post some, but not many with safari.
Anyways, to give you a glimpse of the terrain on some sections, here is another video
YouTube - Tanveer's 4x4 on the Agham - Shyok route.
Tanveer, This is fantastic. How did the swift near you manage?

Hi Friends,

I have been following this thread and this is one of my favorites.

The pictures, description and the passion and love for the vehicle (SAFARI in this case!) in this thread is amazing. I have never driven a safari or for that matter any such car (a newbie in car driving), but going through this thread it seems somebody who loves travelling must have a 4X4.

Have been to many places posted in this thread, but now I realize that traveling through public vehicles (bus, jeep or train etc) and in your 4X4 is sooo much different!

Wish one day would own a 4X4 and travel around like you guys

Today with so many options for SUVs, good to see a made in India SAFARI (which I guess is not so much discussed SUV in the market) is one of the few (along with Scorpio) have a running thread in Team-BHP.

You guys are excellent, Keep up the excellent posts, Tsk1979, i also like your travelogue/theme photo section and posts more and more pics of your car with beautiful sceneries.

When some beasts meet!

The beast on left wear a 255 Yoko ATS, mine 235 Yoko and the one at back, the stock Bridgestone 235.

They look like triplets wearing different shoes. I think you should convince the owners and do an exclusive Dicor trip around some place in TVM. You can end up with wallpaper stuff.

@holyghost:

Nice pictures.

P.S: You have blocked the path of air that hits the radiator and hence the heat dissipation is also affected. This is not good for the health of engine.
