Go with another set of BG65, longer lasting that I have found out. Got my two new rackets strung sometime about 7 months back with BG85 and alternate usage has left the strings frayed and on the verge of giving in. Another racket strung with BG65, though not seeing much action after the new ones arrived is still going good, no problem after 1.5 years of constant use.

Hey guys,
Evenings are very crowded in Gurukul ...so its better to book the court rather than going and playing as a guest member ...

Ok, will start hunting for courts. There are courts in Hennur Cosmopolitan club but it is very crowded. We can try in the weekends though. I will find out and let you know. But if you find any other courts please let me know

New Badminton Club @ Whitefield.

Hi Guys,

A great news. There is a new Badminton club starting on Jan 20th 2011 in Gopalan International school, whitefield. This is a JV between the Gopalan school and well known national badminton coach Biju Prasad. The courts are approved by world badminton federation. These courts can be booked to play and also it offers regular monthly memberships along with coaching by Biju himself .

If you are interested then you can contact the number : 9880639869

Thanks,
Samarpan

I stay in JP Nagar 6th phase, Been a competitive shuttler during haydays, few injuries and a decade later, keenly looking forward to playing again either early morning or weekends.

Hi,
I stay at the junction of Outer Ring Road & Sarjapur Road. I would definitetly be interested in joining you, if we can find a few players to join in.

Thanks,

Re: Let's do Badminton in Bangalore?

Anyone know of indoor badminton courts that can be rented on hourly basis around a 5Km radius from C V Raman Nagar ? Not looking at the clubs like Indiranagar club, ECA, etc since most require some form of membership.

Kaggadaspura/Indiranagar/Horamavu/Banaswadi are some places that I'm looking at.
*I currently know of 2 places, just wanted to know if others here are aware of more places and how much they charge:
Acti Sports Arena, Kaggadaspura
Altis Arena, near Horamavu/Banaswadi
