Thanks! ampere. Well capturing lightening requires a lot of luck, was not very successful with my previous attempts. Saw lightening in a particular section, setup my camera quickly. This was a 120 Sec exposure @ 18mm with aperture @ f/8 and ISO @ 100.

Thanks. Both single exposure RAW files edited in Lightroom. I don't think it's possible to capture such dynamic range right during exposure without compromising color and contrast.

My humble 1000D with kit lens on wide end.

Motion detection looks very interesting. Let me explore if my 1000D can support Magic Lantern. Thanks for sharing.
