Amazing stuff. Really enjoyed it. When do we get to see the Himalaya version?

Cheers

My goodness, that's absolutely incredible! Must have taken a lot of pain and efforts to capture them for several nights.

Good job man! Really. Your Sonata Arctica thread has kept me engrossed. Beautiful snaps and composition. Keep 'em coming.

OT/ I really hope I can watch the Aurora phenomena one day.

Nice shots. I had gone to Tadoba this October.

If I crop from the left, composition would perhaps be better, but I like the habitat shot that shows the other deers and the grassland

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

My pick from the weekend trip to Ganeshgudi. It was one of those last minute plans that worked out pretty well.

I'll keep updating some more on my Fb page here.

Yes, it took a lot of effort and time, and on some occasions we had to drive over 100kms to get clear skies!

Nice shot. Ganeshgudi seems have become very popular with birders in the last few years. Can you share the EXIF?

Any luck with mammals there e.g. Malabar Giant Squirrels or Black Panthers(!!)?

Ganeshgudi has always been a birders paradise, more so because of the birds visiting the Old Magazine House property. We did spot a couple Malabar Giant Squirrels but no panthers, they don't have a jungle safari there. Although, I have heard a lot of stories of black leopard sightings at the Dandeli reserve.

Exif data: 1/100s, F7.1, ISO 800 at 840mm

It wasn't the brightest of the mornings which resulted in the slow shutter, but in the end it worked pretty well to get some motion blur that I anticipated.
