This looks to me like a pair of Kestrels. Can't identify the sub-species as my idea about North American birds is very limited. But, yes it's a Kestrel for sure.

Thanks gd... tts a subtle HDR. I am not very fond of surreal looking HDR which make the composition kinda redundant.
