Rudra sir, the timing of the shot was not perfect since it was just about noon when we passed through that road. I agree it would've been better if there was slant light may be after 4pm.

Posting one more before I retire for the weekend. This one isnt from the mountains

Been long, guess you have disappeared from BPC

(I can't complain much, I haven't been that active either). And those are some cracking shots mate, keep them coming.

I am spending some real good time trying to learn post-processing and I must admit I had under-estimated Lightroom. It's simple and fun and just does what it's supposed to. Here's something that I got to work on,

@amolpol : Simply beautiful landscape! Makes a good wallpaper. The Silhouette shot could use a bit of NR I guess. Nice compositions

Hi Friends,

I have written a small plugin to integrate your Flickr photos with your WordPress powered website. The plugin is still in its early stages and has basic functionality. I plan to slowly take the plugin to next level where one can see all the information about a photo (like EXIF, comments from other users etc) on the website itself.

My plugin is still in very early stages. It started as a hobby project and then I developed it full-fledged to make it a proper plugin. Right now it only shows a specific number of public photos from your flickr stream. There are multiple ways to customize the look of the gallery. I'm working on the features you mentioned right now.

In pictures 2,3 and 4, you've made the cardinal mistake of not getting the horizon straight. Whenever you shoot landscapes, keep the following things in mind:
- Horizon should be level, and not slanted like in the pictures mentioned above.
- Follow the rule of thirds for composition, and place the horizon on the upper horizontal line or the lower line instead of placing it in the middle. Of course, this is only a guideline, so feel free to break it if you think you can get a better image without doing so.
- If there is an object of interest in the foreground, try and compose the picture in such a way that this object does not break the horizon line.
