Hey PVS, good to see your back in Hyderabad. Short stint or going back again? After this meet is over, would be interested to know your comparison report of that indian chinese restuarant in Hoffman Estates in suburbs of Illinois

I ate there a few years ago and it was heaven considering the bland chinese food you get in most parts of US

P.S: If most of us are interested in this lunch meet then someone please start this discussion in meet thread as this place would be in-appropriate

Sounds great. Although I am not from around Hitech City or Gachibowli, I will still make it to the meet.

Please add my name to the confirmed list on the meet thread

Thanks mobike! I am back here for good - completed the tenure of my work visa. Came back here a few months back;

Indian - Chinese Restaurent in Hoffman Estates - you must be talking about Bombay Chopsticks, located off Golf Road, pretty close to the intersection of Golf & Higgins Rd. Yep, I had been there a couple of times, and sure we can talk about that restaurent, and many others as well!!

Completely OT, but do not know where to put this. Where can I get original/good quality Quilt. I have seen some in Big Bazaar, but do not know whether they are of good quality.

There are lots of places. HomeCentre being one of them.

Depending on where you stay, try the factory outlet of Welspun in Trimulghery.

If he ate there a few years ago, it had to be Bamboo Garden, as Bombay Chopsticks is newer than that. Both good, but Bamboo is gone now unfortunately. Hot Wok was very good, but the original closed and now is open in a different suburb(still good food).

I have seen a small outlet selling Haleem all through the year At Chandanagar near BHEL. I don't remember the name now. It is on the left when you come from BHEL to Madinaguda. It is next to Angaara at Chandanagar.

Though many Hyderabadis will swear upon Paradise biriyani, my favorite Joints are Shadab at Madina and Bawarchi at RTC X roads.
