It doesnt show up in the "new" view. Try the "old"view..it shows up as credited in Nov.
I did check both 'old' and 'new' view.

The last interest payment for me shows up in 31st Mar 2021. Just confirmed again from the old view.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

Thought of asking this same question and figured out many are in the same boat. EPFO Interest for FYE 2022 has still not been credited. For FYE 2021, the interest was credited in Nov 2021. This year, there was a news saying interest is likely to be credited earlier than normal, but nothing as yet

PS: A colleague in Hyderabad had interest credited in his account a few months back, so not sure if it is region/state/city specific.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

As per FM it is due to a software upgrade

https://economictimes.indiatimes.com...w/94674344.cms

According to the latest tweet by the Ministry of Finance, “There is no loss of interest for any subscriber. The interest is being credited in the accounts of all EPF subscribers. However, that is not visible in the statements in view of a software upgrade being implemented by EPFO to account for change in the tax incidence.”

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

The 'won't show in statement due to new software' excuse is BS. All transaction line items have to show for proper accounting.

To double-check, I downloaded my statement and totaled up the numbers. Interest for year ending Mar 2022 has NOT been credited.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

Just checked my PF passbook.
I could see "Int. Updated upto 31/03/2022" in my statement. I have downloaded old view.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

I was able to login to the UAN portal fine about 3 days back. Yesterday when I tried to login, it prompts me to change the password. When I follow the steps and give confirmation to verify via Aadhaar OTP, I get the below error message. Any idea what could be the issue?

As an alternative, I tried using the 'Forgot Password' option. After providing all the verification details and confirmation to verify via Aadhaar OTP, it gives the message: 'Temporary problem at AADHAR server. Please try after some time.'

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

The EPFO site has mostly not been working since start of the year. The passbook site is still down since many days. The mobile app via Umang is also down.

This is really pathetic to see a critical service like EPFO being down since days with no clarity when it will be up. What if someone wants to withdraw PF amount for emergency use.

Woah, quite surprising to see an exception like that surface on the UI. This should ideally be logged for the tech teams to investigate but the users should be presented with a friendlier error message. There is nothing that the users can do to solve this. I wonder who maintains this site/application?

The actual error could be due to a myriad of reasons like incorrect cert, server time being out of whack due to crashed NTP daemon etc.

I'm starting a new job and have been asked to submit my EPF statement as part of the documents they collect (which is new to me). But with the site down, I couldn't generate this statement at all.

Also, I had raised requests to merge my 2 PF accounts - one time with my current employer approval and another time with my previous employer approval and both times they rejected it with no reason. The message said I could see the reason on the site but it doesn't even show the requests. My service record has all the required data and validated twice with my employers.

Just pathetic how a multi-billion dollar asset management company is running the organization. I refuse to believe it's only a tech issue. If one area of an organization stinks like this, very likely the other parts are a mess too.

Does the passbook site ever work? I’ve been trying to log in all weekend and it just doesn’t open!

It doesn't. Always shows the message 'e-Passbook facility will be available today from 5.00 pm onwards'. Crazy how they can get away with such shoddy service.
