Did you tried any grievance registration in Umang app?
I am trying to get this transfer of EPS and service history done through grievance. I am not in same city as my previous 2 company's PF offices. I am just hoping this works out as it is excruciatingly slow and mind numbing and there is no proper way to make it work.
Not sure if going to local EPFO office will work or not.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

I was kind of stunned to see this page after completing the E-nomination of my EPF account, we are still in 2018. Our people still cannot get these simple things correct but have been talking about Digital India.

I checked today and the passbook still does not show interest credited for FY 21-22. Should I be raising grievance or patiently wait for few more months for the magic to occur?

As long as we carry bugs in our attitude, there won't be a fear of prosecution or legal complications to the system. A company like AMAT is lost in the prehistoric period in the way it handles its HR and Financial team. There is a bug-filled government-run administrative system handling things like EPF, and ESI. I am sure that such a layman's attitude would have attracted a heavy legal settlement in the USA for the same AMAT. I have not restricted myself to making comments against the rotten system but am also active in dealing with them. Even after 4 months of pursuance, my ex-company has not completed its action items related to my EPF account.

I also checked my passbook but there is no interest credit of previous FY. I read online that finance ministry needs to approve the interest outgo. It is December and budget preparation for next year is started but last FY is not yet credited.

And given the inflation, the FD rates are at 7% and by this time the PF board should be discussing interest rate increase for current FY.l

As reported earlier, I too haven't got any interest credited for FY21-22. Some members may have got it but whosoever i am in touch with, haven't.

I don't think raising it as grievance will resolve it.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

I don't know how many of the forum members have read about this,

https://www.99acres.com/articles/gov...ibers-nid.html

There was a similar proposal even when there was an NDA government under Vajpayee's leadership. The delay in crediting the interest amount to EPF subscribers once again raises suspicion about the government's move to gobble up the entire fund. This is just a thought in my mind and not meant to hurt any individual.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

While transferring my EPF to new employer, my claim got rejected with below reason 'ECR IS UNDER PROCESS'. Any idea what does it mean and how to resolve.

I was informed by our HR that they have not been notified about this till now, so unlikely the option is available to all.

Have you allowed at least 2 months to apply for PF transfer? This indicates the monthly return and PF remittance is not completed by your previous employer. I suggest to check with them and check online statement that your final PF is credited and then reapply for transfer.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

We are already into 2023, and still the interest amount for 2021-22 is yet to be credited. Any idea why this delay and when it is going to happen?

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

Same here. The interest itself is pittance anyways but it hurts to see your already taxed income being held for free by the Government (I exhaust the remaining 80C exemption using ELSS).

Forget ache din...when I will get what I am owed?

Edit: Not sure how true this is but no other choice other than to rant.

Re: The "Provident Fund" Thread

Hi all,

We have been facing a strange issue.

The PAN is correctly seeded however the aadhaar has been seeded of some other person entirely.

The company in question is now closed and we are unable to make any changes to the same. Now, the PF webpage itself is not allowing us to login.

What can be done?

Did you guys check the totals? Mine shows FY 21-22 interest was credited in Nov 2022 .
It doesnt show up in the "new" view. Try the "old"view..it shows up as credited in Nov.
