I had the shoe with me for quite some time, but wore it occassionally due to having a huge lineup.
What irks me is that local Nike store did not help at all on the pretext that the shoe is imported. Whereas such multinational companies should offer service for goods purchased anywhere in the World.

Otherwise at the moment Nike stores in India & Punjab per say aren't doing good business. They are understocked, variety is limited & moreover prices are much above the competition.

I am a Nike fan myself. But a question I want to ask the Nike buffs is - which Nike+ shoe do you recommend? The one that pairs with the iPod Nano.

Why do you want to pair your shoes with ipod, unless you are planning to wear it over your ears. I suggest get a comfortable shoe, if possible from Sacramento. They often give 1 with 1 free, and get a pair of good headphones with money saved, as shoes are half priced over there. You also get all shapes and sizes like half sizes etc.,

LOL, the question itself was funny, but the answer had me up in splits.

seriously typeo... you won't get as many choices with + option, my advice is to visit the other shoe thread and get a good shoe for your requirements.

I concur with vivekiny2k. These gimicks are just that, when looking for new trainers you should not be victim of silly tech.

Also I would be looking at what activities you will be doing, if you are running then go for asics, mizuno and the like as they are much better running shoes. Also look at the level of foot pronation, if it is excessive then go for some trainer with some pronation control built in to them. Trainers can cause a lot of problems if they are not right for you, during the 1980s NIKE trainers where well known for causing achilles tendon (AT) problems because of the excessively high AT area on the back of them, some peopel resorted to cutting off this area just to make them more comfortable.

Geox can be bought for reasonable prices in mainland europe. I picked some up when I was on holiday in Barcelona for 90 euros. Everywhere else they appear to have quite inflates prices.

That's fastastic of Nike to give that kind of customer service to it's customers, I hope this kind of service is all round the country and not only in Mumbai.

After reading GTO's experience, I feel like buying a Nike, the next time I need sneekers.

Hmmm..nice story. I too have a Nike Football boot with me that i bought from Forum, Bangalore 5 months back. I use it almost everyday. Last week, the front part tore of. Other Indian made boots that i have been using for around 2 years are still intact. I called up Nike showroom but they are insisting for the bill, which i dont have :(

They said they can send the details to Nike only if i have the bill.

May be i got too greedy reading this post when GTO did not have the bill and got it exchanged!

Err, the reason I asked about the Nike+ was because it is becoming a pain to keep a log of the miles that I have done.

Hmmm ....

tsk - very funny.

To keep track of miles, if you have a Nokia phone than you can use "Sports Tracker".

This software counts steps with built-in accelerometer. It counts distance and speed with GPS.

Once you enter your height/weight, it can keep track of calories spent on each walk.

your post had me in splits. but there seems to be some confusion over here. i misquoted typeonenegative's whole line instead of just the first sentence.

i ain't looking for shoe to be paired with ipod. i need one that is comfortable enough for running and walking. i will be getting from sacramento itself.
i found nike air max dream + priced at $60 while nike shox at $70. i tried both of them for a short time and found both to be comfortable. so was just wondering if anybody had first hand experience on any of these two. max dream + has two technology integrated into 1, that is shox at front and air max for back. so was just confused which 1 to pick. any suggestion?

Before you guys start "splitting" yourself and bash up the OP, it also makes sense to try and understand the question (or atleast the intentions). All he wanted was suggestions for shoes that "pair" up with an iPod.

Ofcourse all he meant was this - Apple - Nike + iPod : Shoes that can be synced up. Maybe not all shoes can.

Thank you the most.

The thing is that Nike has this site where in you can use the combination of the iPod to upload the miles and motivate yourself. Fountainheader is right in that not all Nike+ shoes sync up.

I would love to explore options as suggested above, but the Nike method seems to be tried and tested. Was just looking at any first hand user experience. Looks like there is none on this forum. *sigh*

Re: Nike experience

Return policy !

I bought 2 shirts from guess & I get It exchanged once as I wasn't satisfied with the fitting, So I got other size In it, I don't like it again, now they aren't willing to exchange, Mostly every store can let you exchange 2-3 times, Their customercare email also doesn't work, I have problem exchanging the stuff I bought, Anything I can do ?

Ps: They keep on saying system won't accept, They just don't wanna exchange it twice, very stubborn people, Not willing to cooperate.
