While these pics are nowhere close to the artistry of Rudra and TG, I'm posting one because it's pertinent to the forum and others, simply because I have them

Have done nothing with the pic, it was just too misty even in the evening. Exodus means going out.

Some shots from me which may qualify for the present theme.
BTW all of these were taken years ago just after i bought my first camera and i was still getting to grips with it. And they're all completely raw and unprocessed

Sorry little OT, just wanted to ask you do you feel a photograper is better if the photos taken by him can directly uploaded without processing? what camera are you using? converting a raw image to jpeg alone also is processing. All the P&S cameras have a processor which does it. The DSLR cameras (and some P&S) can shoot in RAW and this can be post processed as per your choice. If you would have said i have enhanced the tones a bit to bring out that dramatic effect i would have been happy. No Offences but i see a lot of "no processing done" written proudly and considering PP as a taboo.

Again Sorry if this was little too harsh, i always wanted to say these things till now i didnt get a chance.

I have been completely misunderstood here. I DO NOT consider myself to be any great shakes at photography. In fact, the only time the camera does come out is when I go for any vacation or trip.
My entire post meant that I do not know how to, in fact CANT use any post-processing software (due to a company policy of not allowing external software to be installed on laptops) although i know there are online tools available as well. But i havent tried any.
I have never posted on these threads before and while going thru this thread i thought to myself 'Hey, i have some which i kinda like and may just be fit to go up here'.
I knew they obviously cant be compared to 95% of the other material up here and so added the disclaimer that i havent worked on them.
No, i havent enhanced any tones either. I use a Sony H-10 (and i wasnt aware they have an inbuilt processor - see thats the extent of my knowledge of photography!). It was just my attempt at adding to this thread and if it doesnt belong here then please delete the post.
I hope this clears things.

Now you have made me sad :( by writing this, Dear friend nither am I a great photographer, i woont even call my self a photographer for that matter, but i felt this burning urge to post after i saw that little line . Your pics are great, i shoot in RAW and to get that output i have to possibliy spend another 30 minutes post processing and enhancing the tones. My wife says i can only take good landscape and small things, and not potraits the way her P&S cam can. She says she is a better photographer and i say not only that you are better everything, whith no sarcasm of course. I love your pics, please keep posting. Sony H-10 is a great cam some of the guys who graduated to DSLR and are successful now had once used it. The output is great in terms of vibrance. Start carrying your camera more and post a lot of your pics, i am sure everyone would love it.

Once again Sorry for the kneejerk post,

Mods: Sorry for going OT

@PhrozenFire
Wonderful shots! I used an H50 a while ago, and that camera too used to give such vibrant output of colors at sunset. You got some nice colors in your shots, but composition is not quite strong. Google for rules of composition in photography, and it will surely help you!
