Nice shot SS-T. Puri beach is a great spot. We had been there for week long
vacation in 2005.

On more from my side.

TSEA,
First one is really beautiful, may be you can try reducing the sky a little bit.

@deepaktpatil: Thanks. By reducing do you mean cropping, that will give it a wide-angle feel.. will try

Yes, try cropping, I feel there is too much of sky.

Sorry for OT, but Puri is on the east coast. So I am kinda confused about this pic.

This was a pic taken on 31st December (IIRC), and the Puri beach actually faces south-south-east. So the setting sun in the southern sky can be visualised like this at that time of the year.

Backlit Rock formations

I was a bit late to reach this location, a bit earlier during the day it seems that the shafts of light are perfect and nicely light up the beach.

@experts - The image colours are appearing quite different from what I had seen before uploading. Is this some colourspace issue as was pointed out a few pages before? Which colourspace should be used so that colours don't change?

Not Sure whether these fall under backlit...
1. Candle
2. From Butterfly Park, Bannergatta
3. Sunset at Nandi Hills
4. Sunset at Alleppy Beach - My main subject is little too small.
