There is a new swimming pool in banashankari. Built to standard size of 50X75M. It is maintained by a private agency and public batches are held from 5AM till 1PM. Weekly off is Monday. Evenings are used for coaching classes and lap training. Also there is a ladies only batch once in the morning and from 830-930PM. Tried the pool as it is just opposite my house and for now, things are awesome. But Sundays are crowded.

I go to the Jayanagar swimming pool regularly and there is not much rush nowadays if you take the membership card for 1400pm and go for the members only batch. Of all the swimming pools in south bangalore, I find that one to be pretty good.

BTW, the standard swimming pool size is 50X25m :)

I stay beyond electronics city, and hence all the mentioned pools in this thread stands unreachable on a daily basis. Any swimming pool around electronics city area ?

Guys, any good swimming pool in the JP Nagar area or bannerghatta road? I stay in 4th Phase and looking for a good maintained pool for self and kids. Kids are 4 year old and hence a kid friendly pool is preferred. They love water and want to get them started with swimming. Appreciate any pointers. Thanks in advance.

Bumping an old thread - has anyone availed swimming classes for adults in the Sarjapur road / HSR area? if so, requesting contacts and feedback.

Are there any all season swimming pools in south Delhi? Also, does any bhpian have any experience with NDMC swimming pools?

Anyone know of any reasonably priced heated pools in West Delhi?

For people in Gurgaon- I've found a good option for swimming in Gurgaon. I used to swim in Huda Gymkhaana for 2k a month(as of 2 years ago). It used to be insanely crowded. This time around I have taken a swimming membership at Bristol Hotel. It's 7k a month or 30k for a year. Though obviously the max you can utilise it, is from Holi till Diwali. :p
It doesn't get very crowded and it's a rooftop pool.

Has anyone used powered swimming goggles? I use Mariner Optical from Speedo and am totally fed up with the anti fog coating reacting with the chlorine to form its own weird type of fog in the lens.

Any advise on maintenance would be greatly appreciated.

Though I don't use powered goggles but fogging is very common in almost all goggles, even the ones that come with anti-fog coating. I've tried about 5-6 goggles in the last 2 years, most expensive being ~5k, but none took care of fogging.

What did work was coating the insides using my saliva. I usually do it once before I enter the pool and at max have to repeat this one more time during my one hour session.

Now I have two set of goggles, one that cost me 495/- and the other 995/- and these are way better.

Lastly, rinse the goggles with normal water as soon as you are out of the pool to avoid chlorine residue on them. I usually leave my goggles, cap and shorts in half a bucket of water for 15-20 mins once I'm back home.
