Re: The Cricket World Cup 2011 thread

I feel our Indian Team is clicking at the right time which matters a lot in a long tournament like this! Our team was a bit patchy in the group stages but now everything seems to have fallen in place nicely, our Bowling which was our weak point suddenly looks decent. We seem to have found an All-rounder in Yuvraj albeit temporarily. Seems like its going to be an Ind v SL Final. The only advantage i think the SL team will have is that they have played a group match at Wankhede,Mumbai a few weeks back.

Good Luck Team India !

Guys, be prepared for a defeat tomorrow. No point in getting all high and then being disappointed.

The law of averages says that Pak will win against India at the WC

Re: The Cricket World Cup 2011 thread

NZ will rue not having 20 odd runs more on the board BIG time. Congrats to them to have made a match of it and to SL to have made a minor hash of the chase, its an engrossing cat and mouse game.Looks like this WC is one that batsmen will like to forget as none of the teams have had the batting live up to the expectation.
Hope NZ bowlers can make a minor miracle happen. Amazing that they were at the same score at this stage!!!
As for the debate on tomorrows game, i have a sneaking feeling its going to be sachin and sehwags day!
Edit- Another gone!!!
Why is Ryder been given the ball??? Hard to understand!!!

In that case, law of averages could also say that India will beat Pak @ Mohali

Got him!!
Go kiwis!

I was hoping Styris would bowl the next over but Vettori fancied Ryder more for some reason.

Re: The Cricket World Cup 2011 thread

As per the latest flashes on news channels, its raining in Chandigarh/Mohali. This, if true, changes the dynamics. Win the toss, win the game
