Re: The Cricket World Cup 2011 thread

I am not a big cricket fan, but what I find funny is that BOTH sides are suspecting their teams as sell-outs.

OK saar!

My gut feeling is that Pak will be scoring a 50+ in first 6 overs but will be all out by around 218 runs.

Did you also predict the Ind vs Aus match? Someone predicted 252 and was very close.
Hope you are 100% right

No gambling !!

218 has been arrived upon by running a highly complex prediction algorithm. The algorithm calculates the weighted average of output coming form several of its predictions engines ranging from simple extrapolation methods to complex non-parametric prediction logic using FCM clustering and some amount of fuzzy logic. It is also called a 'wild guess'.

No that was not predicted by this algorithm.. System was not up and running properly at that time. It was having some issues with it's real time processing because of some external impurities added.

EDIT: Pak off to a fiery start. See the algorithm's accuracy

What must be the bets placed by the Indian and Paki Prime Ministers. India wins - Kashmir is finally ours, India lose - Kasab is shot/hanged.

At last, a break through. Good catch by Yuvi. A very badly needed wicket.
