Before pandemic, I used to check https://btp.gov.in/Default.aspx often. However, during and after lockdowns I hadn't checked them. Today, while I checked it, I saw three penalties on the same day from 2+ years ago - two for driving without seat belt at different junctions and one for talking on the phone, a total of Rs.2500. There were no associated images posted.

I immediately knew these weren't my penalties!

Upon investigating further, I figured out that the the penalties were from the day I gave my car for servicing. They HASS driver who picked up the car from my home caused them.

I need suggestions on how do I handle this.
Should I write to Hyundai service center and ask them to pay up?
Should I raise a complaint with BTP saying it wasn't me?

It's been more than 2 years now and I don't have a valid reason why I hadn't checked or hadn't responded until now. Will this cause any problem?

Saw this in Twitter about challan issued to electric bike for not producing pollution certificate - not sure whether it's true but if true this is taking things to a new level.
