Got to hear about this while I was in Kerala and glad to know all of you are safe. Take care and forget about what happened, it happens to most of us at times.

I was shocked when I got his sms informing about his accident.

Anyway, his family is safe. He is back at work. His car is getting repaired. Thank GOD.

KB, hope this hasn't put your spirits on the down side. Never let it happen.
Cheer up! Relax. And get you second car up and running till the Kb ka dB comes back to action.

Sirjee...

I cant express more than others how lucky you are to walk away from this unscathed. And I take back all the times I have cursed the accent's design with the odd proportions and the long bonnet. Imagine for a second a cab front design in that same position....

God Bless you and your family.

Good you see you are finally back on the forum. I jumped out my seat that day when I received the SMS. Everybody in my house were shocked and worried. I hope everybody in your family have recovered from the shock and trauma.

And this happened on the day I finally got to see KB ka DB. Being a totally non-ICE person, I hardly gave a closer look, at least I can't be blamed of laying my eyes (Nazar dala?).

Bad stuff there KB. At least everyone came out ok. Thank heavens for that.

Other than the obvious use of seat belts as everyone mentioned it also shows how important it is to not use high beam at night. KB was obviously blinded by the first set of headlights and didnt see the curve coming up. Also its so important to have reflective stickering along the highways which would show you where the road is going.

So wear seatbelts for your safety and dim your headlight for others safety.

Thank God that you and your folks are safe. Good thing you insisted the passengers especially in the front to buckle up.

Hey KB,

That was a nasty crash. thank god you and your family are safe man. I agree with you on the solidity of Hyundai cars. If you had been in a Maruti or Honda then things could have been ugly.

I too had a bad crash in my Getz and the few guys present who saw what happened were as impressed as I was with the solid build of the Getz. Was as though hardly anything had happened structurally.

Take care and drive safe buddy and as far as possible avoid night driving on highways in the rains

Viper/KB, It seems that these Hyundai cars are not as flimsy as their reputation would suggest.

So KB what's the prognosis? Write off? or are their going to restore it?

Real bad crash mate. Happy to hear that the whole family is safe and sound. God bless you for your insistence on seat belts.

It sounded very scary when we first heard of it. Initial reports from you werent that encouraging either, but thank god everything turned out well.

Forget the car, forget the ice, lets not even start praising cars for the ability to withstand crashes. Just thank god that your family got away with your lives - people have lost their lives or have been disabled after lesser crashes.
