Not sure if it's KA 01 D? It looks like KA 010.

It is KA-01-D-xxxx

All numbers starting with KA-01-D are commercial vehicles. There are designated series for each type of vehicles in KA.

Speaking about outside Karnataka vehicles, was stuck in traffic behind this massive "Grove" truck mounted telescopic crane during peak evening traffic hours on 100 ft road Indranagar. As I had a lot of time to closely inspect the vehicle, I noted that it still had Israeli registration plates! Perhaps throwing a challenge to Bengaluru RTO babus to calculate the international road tax differential :-)

This also had Nagaland (NL) registration. Probably an import from Israel subsequently registered in the road tax haven of Nagaland.

Looks like either 9591 or 4591.
I am from Dombivli, Thane, and staying in Chennai since last two years. Oh, how I miss those wacky number plates like "dada (4141), Raj(2141), Sai(2115) etc.
Here in Chennai most of the plates are of standard type be it a Nano or a Merc.

Found this Innova with not 1, but 2 big logos occupying more than half of the number plate.

When Congress is neither ruling the state nor the central government, the owner is either really brave or really dumb to put Congress flag in the number plate violating the law.

It could be 9541 or 4501 or 9501 or ... so on!! I wish this guy gets a hefty fine. Even Robert Langdon cannot decipher this properly let alone the local police.

Came across this horrifying vehicle just about an hour back. It was full of scratches and dents. How come these kind of vehicles are allowed to ply on the roads? What if he gets tangled or does a hit-and-run? :Frustrati That car had no proper lighting (You can see that there's no right-rear tail light assembly). This can turn out to be a total nightmare.

There are worse contraptions running loose on Bangalore roads. The authorities concerned have better rewarding tasks handed out to them, in place of enforcing what's really the need of the hour - read, ensuring vehicles are fit to be on the roads rather than sent to the scrap yard

Friends,
Just today saw this number plate in my neighborhood. Although there is no wrongdoing in this car, I am not sure which place is this vehicle registered in.

Most of the states are represented by two letters (like BR is for Bihar). But which state does this BHR represent?

This is a temporary registration number issued by Patna DTO but I have seen people roaming around with these numbers for years altogether.

Spotted in Chennai... this reg plate speaks for itselflol:

Rahul - BHR is the temporary registration series for the state of Bihar. I guess you must have seen it on a brand new vehicle. The permanent registration series starts with BR.

Thumbs up to Bone collector - saw your revert after I replied :-)
