Very true, I miss my Paytm app and it's Fastag worked like a dream. I could do everything on the app itself. I wish others followed suit provide an app for the same.

IDFC FirstForward app does everything and more compared to PayTM. You can get statements, dashboards etc. it’s very neatly done app.

This is great! The dealer issued IDFC tags to my cars at the time of buying. I was happy with the IDFC experience (tag, SMS alerts, mobile app, customer service through email) except I wasn't aware of this pool account feature. I cancelled them after short use and switched to PayTM to keep all tags under PayTM.

I closed Paytm Fastag of one of my cars. I applied for the ICICI Fastag and it is under processing. I went with ICICI because i have accounts with ICICI and it has an Auto-reload feature where you fix the threshold amount and recharge amount and connect it to your ICICI Bank Account.
I guess whenever the balance goes down below the threshold value it will automatically top-up from my ICICI bank account.

So far so good. I thought let me get a ICICI fastag for my second car too and that is where the trouble starts.
There is no option in their portal to add a second Fastag for a Second Car to the same Customer id. Some folks mentioned that we can accomplish this the old fashioned way by calling their customer support. Customer Support is difficult to reach and if you do there is a long wait time of over 5 minutes to speak to an agent.
Now the problem is that the Agent had no idea on how to add a second Fastag to the same customer it. He was just putting me to hold and giving me all wrong information. Two things he told me to try:
1. He told me to download My Fastag App and create a wallet there - This is the NHAI app not the ICICI Bank app. This does not work.
2. He told me to take help from Whatsapp no 8640086400 - This whatsapp bot has no option to add a 2nd Fastag , it simply sends you to the url to apply for a new Fastag.
I am thinking it was a mistake to go in for ICICI. It has become a pain to simply add a 2nd Fastag to the same customer id so that I can manage both with the same wallet and with a single login.
If anybody has any solution, do let me know.

I needed two tags. Studied various options for auto-upload and balance sharing from common wallet. Though I don't have ICICI bank account, opted to go with ICICI.

Online (website) application process was quite smooth, just required KYC documents (ID, address proof, PAN) and copy of vehicle RC. Online payment was done during account creation only. Tag was delivered in 3 days. Recharged the CUG wallet and set-up limits for auto-recharge of the tag. Working flawlessly.

Now to tricky part: Application for second tag. The path for application is :

Logged into website/ account > Help Desk > Raise Request/ Complaint > Type: Request/Complaint > Subtype: Add On Tag under same Cust ID

Confirmed for the payment, uploaded the copy of second RC. But unlike the first tag, there is no update on this one. After completion of TAT, I'll escalate. Keeping fingers crossed.

Since you mentioned you already have ICICI Account, I assume you use imobile pay. After you link your current ICICI FASTag, you can try to Buy New from the App.
Hope this works and helps you get FASTag for your second vehicle with the same user id. You can check and let everyone know if this works.

I am planning to get IDFC Fastag.
I guess that’s the only bank Fastag that has a dedicated app called Firstforward.
I have a car already on it. Will shift the other two there as it shows balance available on each vehicle at a glance and we can recharge induviual cars thought UPI on that app.
That app has other stuff also like calculate toll charges per trip etc.
Edit: I applied via the app and both Fastags delivered in two days. I have some balance on Paytm. Will recharge IDFC once I am done with Paytm.
Hoped Mr Ambani will take over the Paytm wallet by 15th March.

I checked the Imobile-Pay app and it was showing the first Fastag.
I thought it would be a good idea to try to apply for the second Fastag for the second Car from the Imobile-Pay App.
I did do the "Buy New" Fastag and it took the request but unfortunately it has created a new Customer ID.
Now when I try to login with the Common Mobile No on the Web portal after logging in it gives the option to choose from the two Customer-Ids.
In the Imobile-App too it shows the option to choose between the 2 Customer-Ids under "Change Id"
I hope there will be a way to merge the two IDs or else it will be a pain to have separate wallets for the two fastags for the two Cars.

Thanks for Sharing Styler. Having multiple customer ids could be painful , Hope ICICI comes up with a way to merge them.

It was a wonderful experience with Paytm fastag and had to bid goodbye to the Fastag after 6 Years without any issues. I went for IDFC fastag after having issues to get a online purchased ICICI fastag. It was really a pathetic experience with ICICI fastag and they activated the Tag only yesterday after a long drama (Date of application 22nd February 2024). ICICI activated after I had bought the activated IDFC Fastag in a nearby toll.The TAG status in the NPCI website was showing two active fastags against the Single Fastag rule. I was forced to apply for the closure of the fastag in the ICICI customer portal.

Did anyone try Park+ app? I have received it during my Jimny purchase from the MS dealer. The fastag bank was idbi and dealer person told me to download park+ app and it was linked with the VIN of the car. Did a small top up recharge to see if it works. All seems ok as of now.
I think it is also same as paytm and I see a wallet too there. Hope to add my other cars also in this app and do all fastag activities in this app alone.

Hello, I believe you have an ICICI account. You must be having the mobile banking app too. Login to the app and you will see the ICICI Fastag option. After selecting it you will see the Manage option; click on it. You will then see the Link another Fastag option. Here you can add your second Fastag. Once done, you should have access to a common wallet.

I did the above steps sometime back to link my Dad's Fastag. I am yet to receive the tag, so not sure how the Wallet works. What I noticed is that it needs a minimum recharge of ₹1000.

I was trying to buy the idfc tag from their First Forward app.
However there is a Fast tag max fee for 300 which is a useless thing for me and I don't see the option to remove this. Any tips?
