160 MPH or around 250 KMPH on a Nissan Maxima (V6) on a drive from Atlanta to Dallas... I was just too tired and wanted to get home. Dad drove on the way to Atlanta... time taken = 16 hours. Time back to Dallas with my driving = 11 hours !
Maruti 800 MPFI - 140 KMPH (Actually the Speedo needle reached its limit! Was able to do it on a long flyover, at 300 AM in the morning with a good tail wind)
Santro Xing - 130 KMPH
Next on the list... my upcoming Verna CRDi SX w/ ABS... lets see how fast she goes!

Finally got a chance to hit some highs after new rubber and Free flows.

175 kmp on road to BIAL. Was alone in my car with TorqueGuru following so no in car pics.

Its the Ldi model sankar hence no tacho, only the Vdi comes with a tacho.
Very scary to drive with stock tyres...

The fastest I have driven is 175 kmph in my Palio 1.6 on the Mapusa - Porvorim (North Goa) NH17 road at 6 in the morning.

Was the Maxima you drove was modified one or it is a standard one! Because somehow the governed speed limit of standard Mamima is way too less than what you mentioned!

The max I drove till now is 140+ mph (244 approx.) in a AUDI 4.2 V8. It was my friend's car. Thats way too risky even if you have detectors and all kind of laser blocks installed.

Here are mine -
Lancer - 150kmph and then I realized the speed and slowed down.
Ikon 1.6 - 130kmph on Marine Drive late at night. Got a jhatka.
Fiesta 1.4 TDCi - 120-130kmph at 3 in the morning on the W.E. Highway
Accord 2.3 Vti - 120-130 kmph at Marine Drive. Didn't feel it and once i saw the speedometer, i slowed down to a more reasonable speed.

I am generally a safe and slow driver, but once in a while, on a good road, i get tempted to go into the 3 digits but I make sure I know my limits and the cars limits.

While driving from Raliegh to Richmond Virginia

3.Yamaha R1 : 160Kmph

4. Mitsubishi Galent : 85 Mph approx 135 kmph
Everyday Office to home

1. Ford Mondeo - 140 MPH (approx 225 kmph) The pic below was taken on the way to 140 mark. Done on M1 towards Scotland

2. M800 - 130 kmph. On my way to Agra from Delhi
3. Maruti Esteem MPFI - 145 kmph. Somewhere near Hapur Bypass
4. Ford Ikon 1.6 - 180 kmph. Greater Noida expressway

New mods are working !! yippe..
just hit 170 kph in 3rd gear @ 7000 rpm. on my esteem. Again Didnt push it to 8000 rpm
hit 190-195 kph in 5th @ 6000 rpm..could have gotten a little more but ran out of road.. used to top out at 185 ish earlier..
and yeah 210 in my dad's rs.

i have this wonderful ability of taking a normal diesel QUAILS to 120-130km/hr the moment that happens i start crying and i usually stop the car and smell the burned engine. This car is dangerous driving anything above 100 it also has the ability to fly,i have not achieved that at the moment but i am determined

Hi all

On Bangalore mysore highway at night : 180 kmph (4th gear) on friends lancer sfx
On my vtec City : Nandi Infrastructure corridor : 170 Kmph (4th gear)
and
finally 155+ on Scorpio on NH 4 ( really scary personally will never try it again on a scorpio )
