What will be more interesting to see is the dash from 0-100...thats where the bikes with their puny engines will majorly lose out.

Ya cos the way he enjoys his VTEC makes me just go out and buy one whenever i read any of his stories. Seriously.
Nope, but I have to admit...I have yet to meet a person (including myself) who loves a Vtec as much as Shantanu does.

They asked for it. And i couldn't resist, i'm a very generous person. I like to give (except my Vtec) and i "GAVE" it to them.

No offence meant Shan2nu....but seems u havent heard abt the RD factor

A 1983 RD in stock condition (i mean 20yr old condition) will do qrtr mile in 16-17sec

A fully modded RD will do Qrtr mile in low 13's something like wht the Supra did in Mumbai

cheers!

I personally haven't seen or heard of any RD doing the 1/4 mile in low 13 secs. The ones in Blore can manage mid 14 secs but low 13's is a bit too optimistic if you ask me.

Asuming that the low 13 secs is around 13.2 secs. The bike will have to reach speeds in the region of 170-175 kmph. I wouldn't bet my money on that.

what bike is that
its a bashed up, limping piece of junk, parked for the last decade at a friends place

getting back on to the topic, yup RD can put up a formidable fight at a 1/4 mile drag..

just a doubt though whats the top speed recorded for a VTec, speedo reading or whatever, was talking to a friend and he says it might be 175 ish??
