The Mercedes camp. These GT3 and the Roadster did not take part in the parade, only the SLS did.
From L to R: Mercedes SLS GT3, Mercedes SLS Roadster white and Mercedes SLS red :
Fully race prepared SLS:
Looks fast even at a standstill:
Ceramic Brakes, single nut retention wheels, slick tyres, et al:
Full roll cage:
That would be loud:

Gogeous RS5, looks divine with this light on it:
Simple but oh-so classy:
A roller or a beast, what would you choose?
One word, IMPOSING:
The name says it all:
Ariel Atom, this is a race car in disguise:
Want to know how to keep weight down? Just ask these guys:
Spartan interiors:
Here's a quick video i threw together :
Sorry it doesn't have too much "action" in it, but given the traffic etc it was hard to get the cars at full song

An F430 mirror with nice detailing:
Some divine intervention for the GT-R !
The crowd turned out in full force too:
Im really sorry, but people really need to get some bloody driving sense. A Maserati Grantourismo was rear ended by a guy in a Figo, and the force of the hit was so bad that the Maser hit the Hummer H1 in front. I'm not going to upload the pic because its just a horrible sight. The worst driven cars were Swift Dzires with people hanging out of the windows, swerving in and out of traffic, and also some hatchbacks. I'm just disgusted at the way some people were driving on the road, and it might be a coincidence but all of the worst driven cars were ones cheaper than 10 lacs. I was in a 530d and we could barely just keep up to those cars, I don't understand why people in swifts were trying to keep up and just endangering their own and other peoples lifes in the process. I saw at least 3 accidents today. Next year there have to be some security arrangements made while on the move.
Now sorry to start on such a bad note, but besides the above it was a brilliant day. Managed to get paddock passes sorted so I was up close with all the cars. Man O Man. 3 Aventadors, 4(?) 458s, the Underground racing Gallardo (Which btw left an Aventador for the dust during a short drag on the sealink) and the Superleggera made my day. There were loads of supercars, but I can say with certainty that these were not even half of the cars in Bombay.
The Red 430 with an exhaust is a real sport, and a great driver. That car sounds insaneee too. And it is loud. Another car which made my day was the golden SL55 AMG with an exhaust. A chick driving it started doing burnouts, and she handed it over to the guy sitting next to her who also started doing burnouts.
Brilliant, brilliant day overall. Expect some great pics. Nice bumping into a few people there, Rehaan, Platzdaturbo, flyingspur, cartman, adishenoy, speedy, contangoback etc.

It is indeed a disgrace for such a thing to happen. :Shockked:I couldn't agree with you any more on the need for people to drive more safely. And, I also find the smaller cars to be the ones going faster. Request you to please upload the pic (after blanking out plates etc) so that people like me who couldn't attend today can get an idea of the scene. I'm sorry to say but we have absolutely no sense of safety.
Btw what did the owner of the Maser do?

Will upload the pic in a bit. But honestly, the more expensive cars, like even Civics or Jettas though driven fast, kept within limits. But Dzires, Getz, Santros etc were going ballistic. Not a good sight at all.
Mr Bamboni didn't drive any car. He was shotgun in the UGR Gallardo.

:Shockked: Where did this happen? Which colour was the Maserati? Don't remember seeing any at the event, maybe it joined in late.
The cops need to control the rashly driven cars with youngsters hanging out of the windows. I myself witnessed 1 accident on Marine Drive.
The showstoppers were certainly the Aventadors,Italia's & the Superleggera!
Seeing a Hummer H1 in my rear view mirror was something!
Will post pics later.
Great show but poorly managed, the public were stopping cars by coming right in front of them to take photos in Bandra just before the sea link!! Very dangerous stuf!! Should have been more police presence.
Just had a crisis seeing this pic shot by a friend! :D
All that's missing in this frame is the VI Superleggera.
Here are Pictures of the parade, taken at Chowpatti.
Is it a Lamborghini parade ?? !!
