It is a 458 Challenge fitted with a customised after market Aero Kit, to help with down force.

Being a part of GS's private collection is not totally out of the question.

If you look through his garage, he's got plenty of mental stuff already including that crazy drag-spec Skyline, the TT Gallardo, the E46 M3 Drift car that's being built and now this!

However, seeing as a Pagani Huayra had landed here and then went AWOL we never know if this has just stopped over or has indeed come here to stay. Let's hope for the latter

Good to know. Let's see where he uses it now. Can't fathom any place other then the BIC. Hope he shuts Marine Drive for a day and thrashes it like this

This is a LHD and not for street use..it is a pure track oriented car. She can be ferried on a flat bed for display purposes too.

But is it possible to drive a supercar without proper registration ??? Asking because as its a LHD i dont think he can get it registered !!

I think its quite possible to register a LHD. How else did Tata register his California? I guess you have to pay some exorbitant fine to register such vehicles here.

And by the way, if this car is going to be driven only on a track, does it need a normal registration at all?

Only road cars needs to be registered, mate, which the 458 Challenge is not.

eg: Ferrari FXX, 599XX etc

Tata got it registered cos he was Tata.

I think he being a manufacturer utilized the provision for registering a LHD car locally as a test car. At least, that’s what I heard.

You can’t otherwise register a LHD in India at the moment, the Veyron being the only exception.

I think its strictly for display purposes . Look at the mixed color of red and white on it . Why would anyone want that. Its here only for some event . Sorry to say this guys but its gonna go back soon from where it came .
