Just saw this today. Its a turbo convertible and the guy has added an S. I might be wrong as there is no turbo S varient on the 997 its only on the caynne. The wheels and exhaust are also different and i feel it is a s or 4s cabriolet that has been added with the TURBO S designation. Hopeing someone can shed some light on this.

No speedy, that is a legit 996 Turbo S . Porsche produced a Turbo "S" in 2005, featuring the X50 engine upgrades and brake upgrades. May be he added the S. And the 997 gen may also get the S variant of the Turbo during its final leg.

There was indeed a 911 Turbo S, but not in the present 997 range. The previous generation (996?? ) had that variant. It seems like it has an aftermarket exhaust set-up. Techart maybe!

This was the original 996 turbo s

Thank you for your Inputs guys was wondering if it was a mod like many people add designations to their cars.

ECKS the 997 may also get the TURBO S but has still not got it right.

Shamik thanks for the Picture. This is a 996 and not 997 Convertible turbo S. The wheels match .

Pop on the 997.II LEDs in the rear cluster, full-clear lens circular headlamp treatment (not that teardrop nonsense) and refreshed alloys and there really won't be a heck of a lot of difference. Would require some bumper mods though. Although the interior is miles better in the 997 over the 996.

Its a 996, not a a997. The 996 Turbo/ C4S and the Turbo S had a chunkier behind than the rest of the 911 range. The 911 C4S was the only 911 that had a reflector strip between the tail lamps.

Seems confusing. The car looks like a 996 Turbo with the correct exhausts and the vents at the door. However it is missing the vents on the rear bumper.

V12 it does have the vents on the rear bumper, but due to the body colour and the angle of the photgraph they are camoflaged.

You can clearly see the vents in the first photo , not so much in the second though. That exhaus is aftermarket or does as OE with the porsche ? Dont really like it !

They don't look like stock exhausts v12. They look more like these, which is a techart modified car.
