Twinning it with Asif Ali.

DQ on Bombay Journey. Talks about his love of cars, his used car startup among other things. Enjoyed the episode.

Big M having some fun on the sets of Rorschach.

A pal of mine spotted this in Indira Nagar, Bangalore, some time ago.
I guess this is also DQ’s car, going by the number.
This is an early 2012-2013 R56 Cooper S with the N18 Peugeot-BMW 1.6 litre Turbo charged petrol engine.
(Can’t resist basking in a bit of reflected glory, since I have the same model.):)

I guess this car is being used by his sister nowadays. It was in Kochi until they bought the GTI in 2017.

DQ has started sharing his garage details finally - watch the man himself introducing them :)

The M3 in the video looks so well maintained. It's like it hasn't aged a day since '02.

Couple of screengrabs i had taken to post here, only to see the video has already been shared above. :) Nevertheless, cant have enough of that M3.

Seems like the next video is up. SLS it is and IMO the best looking tastefully created brute there is. Now officially hooked.

While it is a good initiative and considering the petrolhead he is, request him to do a slight larger video which speaks a little more depth about : for eg the M3
- How much fun is the manual in reality
- What all has he done to restore to the original charm
- How does the paint on these so old cars hold up
- A little drive impression
- Is the KW suspension better than the stock M suspension ( pros cons over than lowering)
- How is this different than the rather raw E36 M3 he has.

The videos looks more like showcase my toys.

There is a lot of nostalgia he can draw from his older stable ( Defender, Landcruisers, W123, W124, W140, Mini, 7 series, Volvo wagon etc). The restoration and procurement stories, the sweat and failure and rise stories.

Part 3 is here.
This time it's the 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3. Beautiful color and impressive spec.
Hope he keeps coming with more :thumbs up

I know many people here wouldn't agree but in my opinion, specifically speccing a sports/supercar with manual gearbox reflects that the owner is indeed a true blue enthusiast and not a person who owns a Porsche just because they can. Props for having the rare manual 991.2 GT3 in the garage. GT3 Touring would have been next level though.

I kinda agree. All these time I thought he was being media shy regarding his cars, but one day he would showcase his car collection in a Jay Leno's Garage style series of videos.

This feels more tuned towards the masses than propah enthusiasts. Or maybe he is gauging repsonse so that he can put his time, money and effort into a video series? :)

This is exactly the comment that I had placed on his YouTube channel against each part which he has showcased so far. And yes, he is very probably gauging responses prior to going bigger on YouTube.
